Iconic venue and a home for legends

I have taken my family to see legendary rock artists - Eric Clapton, James, and now Joe Bonamassa - and venue enhances the evening's entertainment by providing excellent acoustics.

Great venue for seating. Unlike Brisbane tents where if you sit behind a large person you can see nothing, the views and seating were excellent. Poor access to cloak room and huge queues for toilets were a downside. I have seen Cirque in LasVegas and Brisbane . This was not one of their better offerings. The storyline was weak and... More

l'm a huge fan of Joe Bonamassa, but have never been able to make a concert. So, this was double 'wammy' for me as l'd never been inside the RAH either. I was a bit worried as the tickets were grabbed, and we could only get seats in the choir. But, we were just to the right of the stage,... More

I love the Royal Albert Hall as a venue, but the drinks are a little on the pricy side. We were seated in a box on the 2nd Tier central and these were excellent seats for sight and sound.

First trip to Royal Albert Hall for many years. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Went to see Joe Bonamassa. Had not preconceptions of what it was about but as we were sitting in a box at least we were guaranteed a reasonable view. We were not disappointed. Whole night was very good.

We had looked forward to seeing Joe Bonamassa but we were very disappointed that from our seats (Door 4 Circle P, Row 7, Seats 14/15) we had no view of the performers on stage. Our tickets had stated restricted view- they should have said NO VIEW. Not acceptable.

The building is such an impressive place & well worth doing the tour to discover the history of the building alone. Combine that with a performance - we have been twice now to the Classical Spectacular & it is so aptly named!! The ending is unbelievable with lasers / fireworks / guns / cannons and balloons! Stirs any patriotic heart!

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
