Not worth spending time or money. I took my 5 year old to play. I remeber it back in 2007 was really fun. But now its all worn out. Machines dont work properly

We went here one rainy April day & walked straight out the back door. Tatty nasty amusement arcade with horrible tatty shops selling more tat. Escalators were turned off, dirty, dark and dingy.
This is the first and last time I've been here. Did the place use to be the place to go? Not in the last 15 years. AND...

When I visited the Trocadero back in 2008 it was brilliant (apart from the £1 Toilets!). There was a massive arcade that must of took up 4 floors, dodgems, ten-pin bowling, and a subliminal way of making sure people passed every arcade machine (I had to walk around every floor to just come back down to the exit). HOWEVER, When...

To all the visitors from abroad who come to London, this is definitely not the kind of attraction we want you to see. It's a hideous, dirty, dark and noisy embarrassment that needs rebuilding from the inside out. The cinema is fine once you are in, but the shops and garish fun fair around are not.
For such a key London location, just off Piccadilly Circus, the Trocadero is underwhelming to say the least. It mostly consists of London souvenir shops that all sell the same stuff and the 'attractions" are very disappointing. Unfortunately the best thing I can say about the Trocadero is that it's a good shortcut between Shaftesbury Avenue and Piccadilly Circus.
How the mighty has fallen. What was once a must do in London is now a must avoid. There is literally nothing here anymore. Nothing short of knocking it down and starting again will fix this. Make your life better and stay away!
Another review calls it's "A shadow of its former self", which is actually praising it too highly.
The stinky market-place like entrance with its stalls selling mobile-phone covers is literally as good as it gets. Venture past them and you reach the escalators that do not work, which lead up to a dark second floor, which from the ground floor...

Hard to believe but even 10-15 years ago this was a bustling, busy and fun place to hang out on the weekend. There was a massive Segaland arcade that spanned several floors, a Pepsi max drop ride, an IMAX movie theatre, loads of shops and restaurants, and an awesome Alien War experience based on the movie. How it's changed now,...

Went here to kill a few hours at the cinema before catching the bus home. Was not at all as I expected, escalators everywhere that don't work, cheap shops selling rubbish including 2 shops selling "smoking paraphernalia" which is not exactly the kind of shops you would expect to see in a place that advertises family fun such as cinema...

I went here a few years ago and it was buzzing with life. There was rides and games on about five floors but now it's like a empty warehouse. The escalators didn't work and there was hardly any games or rides. I can't believe how a place can go downhill so fast.
