We had an amazing time walking on this tour, so many hidden treasures of street art of all mediums. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgable and add to that his depth of passion for the art, it made it come alive. I honestly could not recommend this tour highly enough. I have photos that I will treasure for a lifetime.... More

I've done street art tours of London before, which were very good, but this one easily takes the cake - Dave's intimate knowledge of street art and the many artists responsible brings a depth to the tour that cannot be matched. Adding to this is his appreciation for the ephemeral nature of the medium, his historical knowledge of the area... More

A great morning. Our guide Feancesca was very knowledgable and took us around Shoreditch showing us the many great pieces of street art. We happened to find Flem creating a piece from the top of a cherry picker! Definitely worth a trip. Makes u realise how much you can miss just walking down the street.

This tour was recommended to me by a coworker and a friend, who both raved it was a highlight of their time in London. They were completely right. DAPHNE is fantastic! This is NOT some commercial, stand in a herd type of tour. It's wonderfully personal, and an incredible way to take in a side of London you'd easily miss... More

When we booked this tour we didn´t only want to see Street Art in Shoreditch, we also wanted to film the tour with two Blackmagic film cameras. When we met our guide Karim in a cafe it startet to drizzle, by the time we stood in front of the first sculpture it was pouring down with rain. Despite of rain... More

Karim's depth of knowledge and infectious passion for graffiti and street art made our 2 hour Hackney Wick walk an absolute pleasure. Rather than only pointing out particular artists, Karim also explained the social and cultural context for the development of grafitti in the late 20th century, giving us an insider's insight the way that a 'scene' has developed over... Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
