Our guide Emiliano led us on a 2-hour tour of Shoreditch street art. It was revelatory. There were so many astonishing artworks, ranging from the tiny to the side of a multi-story building. Emiliano gave us interesting background information on each artist, on the culture of London street art, on the various styles and personalities involved. Entertaining, educational, and filled... I had the pleasure to attend this street art tour in August. It was a very enriching experience with a very lively funny and interesting guide (Daphne) who knows well the topic and likes to share her passion with her audience.

Amazing, exciting, inspiring tour! Do not miss it the next time you are in London. I came with my two kids (15 and 13) and they share my experience. It was the highlight of our London visit, and I would spend 16 more hours if possible with amazing Daphne!. She is highly knowledgeable, authentic, brings live to her stories and... More

David was absolutely fantastic. His passion and love for street artists couldn't have been more clear. He has an in depth knowledge of the entire street art culture and told fantastic stories of each piece. I couldn't recommend this tour more. Worth the time!

I never usually post reviews, but this tour was one of the best I've been on. Our tour guide (Daphne) was fun, passionate and really knowledgable and took us places we've never seen (a great effort for people who actually live in London!) the tour group wasn't too big, so we were able to ask lots of questions and hear... If you are into street art or want to now more about it or just want a way to see another side of London, this is the walking tour for you. First, some of the things that set this tour apart from other groups offering the same thing. 1. They keep the groups small. THIS IS KEY. With a smaller... More

Even as a dweller of East London, this tour opened my eyes to new parts of the city which I have seen multiple times before. The tour gave me real insight into not only beautiful artworks, but the world of street art and graffiti itself. Our tour guide seemed like a real insider (although he was very coy about the... I've been to London a few times, and done the normal tourist thing, and wanted something a bit different, and this is certainly different. I loved the tour guide (he is also a street artist) because he really knew what he was talking about, and knows what the "rules" of the artists are. I loved seeing the varied and different... More

On one of London's very wet days, myself and 2 friends went on the street art tour. Two other souls bravely joined us so it was a small group. Our fearless leader Sara was excellent and knew a tremendous amount about the art we were seeing. Street art is not only political but also living creations that folks add to... More

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
