Great tour! The guide is very passionate about art and history. So much information in a couple of hours, so many hidden art pieces around the city. It is a very fun walking tour and I highly recommend it.

Turned up not really knowing what to expect, but Ben quickly made the group feel relaxed and intrigued. Right away we began picking up on the unusual details around the East End that are so frequently overlooked, discovering things about the urban art scene and local history, their interrelationship and the threats facing both. Ben's passion really brought the tour... More

Great way to see another side of London. Ben, our guide, was a streetartist himself which made it all the more real. He put things in a past and future perspective. Interesting insights.

Second time doing the tour, the guide was passionate and interesting and had a huge knowledge of the area and the artists he showed us. I love that each tour is slightly different meaning you can go again and still learn something new.

This tour is ideal for those who want to explore the alternative side of London instead of the tourist hotspots. The guides are locals who do not only know a great deal about Shoreditch's history, but also about its street art and the stories/creators behind them. I highly recommend it, because it really gives you a new perspective on street... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighborhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
