Perfect place if you need a little break. Just to have the feeling that you are far away from our busy London and all this noise. Pack your drinks and fruits and spend a day over there. Plus, if you find the right spot, you can enjoy a crazy view ;)

Hampstead is North London,it's one if the most sought after places to live. Hampstead is surrounded by the Heath, a vast area of woodland on which some of the most famous writers and painters have pondered their plot. It's not unusual to see a famous face in the village which has some interesting restaurants.the coffee cup has been there for... More

Even apart from Hampstead Heath there is plenty to see and enjoy in Hampstead. The principal streets near the underground station offer lots of restaurants and shops in an urban village setting. True, some are national brands but several are not, and it is enjoyable wandering around the network of side-turnings and alleyways to see interesting, mainly small but exclusive... More

I love Hampstead, it's one of my favourite places in North London. There's so much to see here: Burgh House (Hampstead Museum), Keats House, Fenton House, St Stephen's church, Hampstead Heath, plus lots of great cafes and restaurants and, of course, authentic traditional pubs.

Get away from the tourist hordes and the cacophony of central London. Here you will actually meet real English people on the street and in the hotels, cafes and restaurants. In London the hotel staff and service folk are all non-English. Which is fine but it is nice to meet English people in England no? Hampstead is surely the prettiest... More

Parts of Hampstead have a 'villagey' feel and you have to be very wealthy to be able to afford to live here. There's a lot of interest for the tourist/sightseer around here, including the Heath, Fenton House, Keats House, Flask Walk and 2 Willow Road. Whenever I visit I try to go to all these places. I always take the... More

Hampstead has so much. There's the tube station, making access easy. There are nice restaurants, such as The Wells in Well Walk. There's a Post Office (and it's so hard to find a Post Office in London). Best of all, there's Hampstead Heath. I strongly recommend a walk on Hampstead Heath.

I have never been to Hampstead before, but I'm glad I finally went! This quickly became one of my favorite places in London. Everything was so pretty. Recomended for a nice walk on a sunny day.

I'll always remember asking an older gentleman where Hampstead Heath was and he responded "you're standin' on it!" Love the Brits! Such a lovely place to walk around. Quintessentially English.

Hampstead is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in London. Located in the North West, about 15 minutes tube ride from central London, it is leafy, green residential suburb with arguably one of the most famous streets in the country - Bishops Avenue aka "Millionaire's Row". This neighbourhood is great to walk about about in and visit the parks - especially... More
