If you don't go to the sanctioned half-price ticket kiosk in Leicester Square, you can purchase directly from the box office of the show you want, either in person or online. BEWARE of the Telegraph Box Office (of the UK newspaper). I was just ripped off for a £25 pound "booking fee" per ticket!

We have been to London half a dozen times now, each time attending a different theatre to watch a show. Covent Garden is well worth exploring and so is the shopping around it.

This is the UK version of Broadway. The whole area buzzes. Theatre tickets are not cheap but a visit to this area for a show, a few drinks and a meal makes for a great day or evening out.

This is the hub of theatre in the country. If you have the money to finance your visit, it certainly has something to offer everyone. It is however expensive in the extreme and a night at the theatre will set you back quite an amount of money, not least the price of tickets but factor in parking (if you drive),... More

Whilst located on busier roads that connect the outring of city with its commercial district, it manages to hold sense of personality- giant posters, neon lights, theatre after theatre, opera after opera, and world-recognised titles. Would have been lovely if not the disorientating crowd- better to have a stroll when rush hour is over, even when not attending any of... More

I love the musicals in London. At this time I saw The Book of Mormon and I enjoyed a lot the musical-comedy besides good music and dancing the jokes were sensationals because it is a script potically incorret I laughed a lot and for me it is a máster piece. I saw The Marriafe of Fígaro and also consider a opera... More

Loved this musical telling the story of the Kinks. Great music and lively show. Had seats in the gods so we were a long way from the action but we could still see everything.Seats were in need of some padding and were made for a time when people were much smaller! Luckily we are not big neither did we have... More

The West End theatre district is fantastic. Loads of wonderful venues to chose from to see plays/ shows. A bustling and busy area, it is full of shops and restaurants and places of interest. Great for nightlife. Highly recommended.

The theatre district is great. Theres plenty of choice for shopping, theatre and dinning. It does get very busy, but theres always something going on.
