One of the world class activities you can enjoy in London is taking in a theatre performance in the West End district. Here there is a wide variety of shows held each evening in the historic theatre houses scattered around and between Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus. This is just a great location to catch a show. As... More

My advice is - DON'T MISS IT. My wife and I have been going to ballet at Covent Garden, the Coliseum and elsewhere for fifty years odd and we can truthfully say this was one of the best, possibly the best, experience ever. As we left we heard someone say "wonderful". That about sums it up. This is classical dancing... More

The best ballet company in Uk today; the English National Ballet is performing "Le Corsaire" at the London Coliseum. It is a thrilling ballet about Conrad, a dashing pirate, and his love for Medora, a beautiful harem girl. It is a swashbuckling drama of captive maidens, rich sultans, kidnap and rescue, disguise and conspiracy, love and betrayal, culminating in a... More

We bought seats for £39 and sat in the Balcony row A and the view was spectacular. The show was so good, great music and wonderful costumes and set. They got a standing ovation the night we went. Worth booking in advance and then you get to decide where you will sit and how much you spend, I bought the... More

The prince of whales theater. This is a play written by the boys who brought you South Park. I have not laughed this hard in a long time!!! Beware this is for those with a great sense of humor and one that can make light of comedy. It slightly crosses lines that some would be offended, for that I am... More

We have been fortunate to have travelled to many of the places that people consider the best theatre districts but I believe London West End is the best. It is small enough that you are not overwhelmed by it and it is in the middle of the most interesting parts of London…Covent Garden, Chinatown, SOHO, etc. The Tube makes it... More

Theater in London is absolutely amazing! No where, outside of New York's Broadway district, have I seen such fabulous musical productions. My family and I saw three amazing productions, including Phantom of the Opera, which we have seen numerous times in the U.S., including twice with Michael Crawford, who was the original Phantom, Thriller Live, a tribute to Michael Jackson's... I have been to theatres in New York, Las Vegas and Sydney but London must have the best theatre district in the world. Any production worth seeing is playing here.

There really is something for everyone. Try the discount ticket stalls for bargins, we have had a some great deals over the years and in some cases bought very cheap tickets and been moved to better seats int he theatres due to them having small audiences for the performances we saw.
