My sister and I visited this cafe today, we ordered mushroom pizza between us, a muffin , a Danish and 2 coffees , we ate 2 or 3 bites of the pizza, it was difficult to cut , it had a baked hard crust and it was very greasy, the muffin and Danish were stale and the muffin had no... More

One of London’s many squares, this one is home to the Royal Mathematical Society, parts of the University of London, and the imposing Hotel Russell. It’s also close to the British Museum. Officially, it’s a square, but actually it’s more like a large garden surrounded by buildings with it’s own fountain and café. This makes it a great place for... More

This is a lovely place to visit whilst in the area. There are many hotels close by so instead of sitting inside, go and sit in this little 'park'.

We stayed here for a lunch and to enjoy the very warm weather in late October. It is a very nice place to sit and watch the park life, the autumn colors, and get an ok piece of food/drink (I wouldn't recommend the salads, they're not very inspiring). Great place in good weather.

One has to say on a beautiful autumn day, it was a sight to behold. Peaceful and ethereal by its nature, yet not isolated. Have yourself a great day here.

A good place to have lunch after visiting the British Museum, if you hate mass catering. Plenty of food shops on High Holborn / Oxford Street even a Greggs if you must.

This review is specifically directed at the cafe' in Russel Square Garden. One of the best full English breakfast's I've ever enjoyed, nothing flash but the simple details were carried out to perfection! 2 plump herby sausages, generous un-fatty bacon,de-skinned roasted tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, fried egg with well cooked white but retaining the warm runny yoke, 2 slices of warm... Easy access to the British Museum. Lovely Cafe/Restaurant in the park. Good selection on the menu, we enjoyed panini's and tuna salad. Good value for money.

When I moved to London, I had impression this stop was mostly for the Uni students and not really much for familiy outings but recently found that the area had the art exhibitions in the street and happened to be walking around the area where Rita Ora was attending. I found all the Books About Town in the area, too.... More
