Great way to get around London. Felt safe and the stations were mostly clean. Made a lot of new friends during peak travel times, but being squished in was half the fun. Ride off peak if you don't like crowds. 100 times better than Metro in Paris

Buy the daily pass for all areas: 1,2,3,4. It will cost approx 7 pounds; I bit more on weekdays. But this is the best way to get around the city and see all the sites; it's safe, easy, and reliable.
