Wow, Wow, Wow, this is what I can say when I took the tube (train) from Heathrow airport to go to our hotel which was located at Hammersmith!! It was so convenient even with the kids and when you look at the fare you have to pay for a taxi, the tube is very very cheap, convenient and comfortable~! I... More

Great for a late night dance but I just wish it was open a little longer especially on a Sat night. Free coat check and you can BYO!

buy an oyster card if you're staying for more than 2 days, 15£ is a good start. Can be bought in most tube stations & at airports. If you need more on your card, you will receive that message on the turnstill window & its super easy to add to it by automats at the stations. Just scan your card... More

Great way to get around London. Felt safe and the stations were mostly clean. Made a lot of new friends during peak travel times, but being squished in was half the fun. Ride off peak if you don't like crowds. 100 times better than Metro in Paris

I found the tube was ok and the trains were on time most of the time. My only issue is the sheer volume of people on this mode of transport, which made it a very uncomfortable way of travel. During the evening it wasn't too bad and I found I used it a lot more than I thought it would

From Heatrow direct line to Russel Square, means a lot, take 55 minutes.I am using tube very much withought prejudice and fear.Tube have very good conection to whole town and is very easy to use, even if you dont speak english you are not going to be lost.Colors and names of stations are clearly marked.

Buy the daily pass for all areas: 1,2,3,4. It will cost approx 7 pounds; I bit more on weekdays. But this is the best way to get around the city and see all the sites; it's safe, easy, and reliable. I also recommend buying a tourist map from any of the local tourist trap nick-nack stores; many of those maps... More

The tube was definitely an easy way to get around London! Once we figured out the system it was easy to understand, and if we were confused, the staff were helpful. And the local Londoners were willing to offer assistance too which was nice. The only negative would be that once we arrived in London, it was around 9pm and... More

We found it to be very useful and helpful. We were all over the place and for a good price for a one day pass.
