Went with a group of colleagues, about 20 of us.. Some knew about wine, others just drank it. We all enjoyed it: the format of a short master class about how to taste, followed by the opportunity to wander around trying what you wanted, worked very well. The introduction would have benefited from not choosing a pretty indifferent White wine... More

We were invited to Vinopolis by a company we work with. We had a private area for 20 people and had prosecco on arrival, we had a great finger buffet and then a wine tasting course and quiz with 6 wines. The wine speaker was very knowledgeable and it was a really fun evening.

We were the first in the restaurant for lunch, and were shown to a good table. An attentive and friendly wine waiter took our order, and the Argentinian Siraz/Malbec was delicious. I ordered King Prawns as a starter, and the beef roast for main course. I can only guess that the chef did not taste the sauce that accompanied the... More

I took my Dad for his Birthday and got some classic tickets for £20 which I think is fair price for what you get. Full price tickets are not in my opinion worth the experience. That said greeted by courteous staff despite my lateness ( you have to book by time slot). You then have the option of going into... More

Took my boyfriend on the cocktail masterclass and we had the best time! Our host was amazing and clearly new his stuff but didn't bore us with all the background info, have us just enough to keep us interested. The cocktails we made have changed my look on different drinks and we were both very impressed! We were given complimentary... More

We had a wonderful time tasting the wines and enjoyed the talk about wine tasting. Unfortunately the roast dinner was disappointing, very hard Yorkshire puddings, cold veg, average beef and not enough gravy. The squid starter was delicious. Would definitely return for wine tasting but not for food.

If you have ever done wine tasting before you'll know that what vinopolis now offers is not a wine tasting experience. You start the tour as you would expect with a talk on how to taste wine but are then left alone to taste wine. Sounds good except the wine is now dispensed out of posh vending machines, although there... More

Took the old man here for Father's Day and had a great time. I liked that you have the opportunity to taste some very special wines that I quite frankly can't afford to buy a bottle of. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, there was one dude there who's life was obviously centred on wine and gave us some personal... More

My partner and I went there on 27th June with a token package, which we could top up. It was nice to try all of the different wines, but I agree with previous comments that it is missing somthing and perhaps a bit impersonal. Further more we were not given time to finish the drink we had bought in the... More
