I was a little apprehensive of coming here with a group of friends for my birthday, having read a few negative reviews on Tripadvisor. I thought it might only be half an hour of fun before the novelty wore off. However I was pleasantly surprised! We went for the middle package at £32, which almost doubles the amount of wine... More

Came here for the wine and cheese, which cost £50. Six wines, but of these we had champagne, oloroso sherry and tawny port, plus a sancerre, beaujolais and bordeaux. Then there were 6 cheeses - parmesan, stichilton, cheddar, a neal's yard goat's cheese, brie, and a Somerset sheep's cheese. Of the wines, the NV Champagne was actually OK - maybe... More

Business event which included a group wine tasting session during which group was given tips on how to 'taste' and identify wines. This included the differences between 'New World' and 'Old World', grape varieties, etc. Our guide was an Italian lady, who was very good and although our group was fairly small (30), room was huge and as such she... I have been to Vinopolis twice before, prior to its refurbishment and changes. I have been raving about how good it was for years! Myself and my friend had a trip to London booked and I thought it would be great to go along again. I have to say I was so disappointed. They used to have members of staff... More

A little disappointing! Location and environment wise great! Informative as well. But the business owners need to read and listen to the reviews... The wine portions are tiny, barely a couple of sips. If you view wine in terms of price there should have been some really great wines. But because you barely get a taste it's very difficult to... Went to Vinopolis 6 years ago was great experience lots of people there to help you when trying the wines etc and you got a little note book to write down your favourites etc. However on our trip there today all has changed. Yes the wine lesson at the beginning is helpful and insightful but it ends there. You now... More

We were bought an Oz Clarke wine tasting experience at the heady price of £118 for two last Christmas. The first wine tasting was fully booked and they did not know when the next one would take place. The next one is a t half term and I am on holiday. I went to Vinopolis a number of years ago and really enjoyed it. However this latest trip (with a group of work colleagues) was truly terrible. We had a 15 minute cartoon intro / introduction to wine tasting which was patronising and uninformative. And then it got worse; the wine tasting areas are equipped with vending machines which is very... More

We are disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy the new format of the experience on your recent visit to Vinopolis. I attended the Vinopolis for a conference today. It has an enormous amount of space, well suited to a 300 plus person event. Handy location as well.
