We went here with our family and enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Great service and hospitality from the staff made the whole thing a wonderful experience.

Tom Conran, please can you ask your chef to de-spice the fish stew! I've been a regular at The Cow and have enjoyed many dishes of fish stew and rouille over the years but last night it blew my head off, I couldn't finish it. The waitress explained it was a bouillabaisse and is meant to be spicy. Not true... More

Attended with a friend. Absolutely discraceful service by the blond waitress with a cold sore on her upper lip. She put utensils down for my fish stew and then lied saying she did not hear my order. Very childish behaviour. Other staff were mortified by her behavoiur. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GO SOME WHERE ELSE. Dr MC

Sorry, I know that folk can a little bit bewildered and confused at this time of year, but as the Owner of The Cow I feel must defend the honour of our waitress Elena, who is very efficient, lovely and beautiful young lady. She is surely one of the best most popular members of staff we have had in the... More

Went in there last week to have a plate of Natives & a pint of the black stuff to wash it down. Top notch, meaty oysters & well kept Guinness. Nice old blues tunes in the background & proper pub atmosphere. They don't make 'em like this anymore!

2013 started with a great night down The Cow for Burns night! Haggis, whisky and a brilliant piper called Angus. The place was rockin and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this establishment. We had Oysters galore, and the staff were brilliant!! I would not hesitate to eat here again!!!

I've been watering here since the first day it opened (many moons ago). This is a must go place to have a really fun lunch or evening out. I enjoy reading a good book in the bar on a quiet afternoon or reveling with Westbourne Park's finest (the 'real' Notting Hill for those who aren't local) on a Thursday through... More

I had Sunday lunch here with a friend recently, and didn't know what to expect after reading mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. We had the set lunch which was relatively good value, and along with some delicious bread, butter, olives and radishes, we were stuffed - everything you want after leaving a pub on a Sunday arvo! The... More

Sirloin (minute) steak served with a side of slopped rosemary potatoes was hardly nineteen pounds worth.

Everyting about The Cow is great...friendy staff/good solid grub/fair prices and always a good atmosphere....we always eat downstairs so i cannot tell you about the restaurant but i am sure it is equally good.
