As a ;group of 4 we visited in September. Unfortunately one of our group is in a wheelchair but we found all of the staff and other customers to be very helpful in assisting us, which made for a stress free evening. The comedy was funny throughout without being crude, which was refreshing. We thought the drinks were a little... More

We booked directly with Bar Rumba, The show was exceptional. All three "Pete" were hilarious as well as the host. There were a couple of breaks in between so you never ran out of drinks. After the show the place became a night club, where we manage to dance till 0100 though the place was open till 3am.

Like anything of this nature it has the potential to completely bomb! This however was a great night, the MC/host was hilarious as we're all of the comedians for the most part. Of the three acts that night, I was in stitches for two of them and the 3rd provided a few laughs. The beer/drinks are pretty expensive but not... More

Great night out and the comedians and MC was amazing. The only downfall was that the door staff were a bit rude but it really was a lovely night out Word of warning, the drinks are really expensive but then you are in central London

First time visit to comedy carnival was a complete success. We have reserved seats in the front row - so close to the stage, I could rest my feet on the stage. Comedians were funny and came from Australia and America. Venue admittedly was dingy and could have done with a good clean, but atmosphere was great.

Went to Comedy Carnival on a Friday night, easy location to get to on Shaftesbury Avenue, Venue ok but the seating could be a little more comfortable. Two out of the three comedians I found very funny, one was not to my taste but others found him very funny so just personal opinions on comedy. Host again very funny but... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
