This was my first time going to the comedy carnival and I wasn't disappointed. Other than the cramped seating conditions (which is a common theme at all comedy nights) the show was excellent. The MC was great really got the crowd going and all 3 acts were different but equally funny. Thanks for a great night!

Was brought a night here as a Christmas gift, and so went with my better half. The venue was easy to find, as its literally 2-5mins walk from the tube (Piccadilly). When we arrived (7pm) the staff was friendly and it was Happy Hour till 10:30pm. The venue is clean and tidy and the staff are quick and accommodating making... More

My fiancé and I plus two friends visited the Comedy Carnival (at Bar Rumba) on Friday 14th August. My fiancé was immediately impressed as the bottled beer was 3 for £10! Which is a great price for a London venue. The wine was very good value for money at £10 per bottle. #instantwin. We all loved the three different comedians... More

Overall it is a great location, and great experience, the three comedians that we saw were very good, kept us laughing and with a no-holds barred approach to their delivery. The MC was also excellent. The bar prices were a little to be desired considering we were informed it was 'Happy Hour' until 22:30. Seating was adequate

We went on Sat 8th Aug, lovely meal at Grace's Terrace followed by a fun evening at Bar Rumba. MC was brilliant, followed by 3 very funny acts....and one heckler lacking a sense of humour. Highly recommend

Easy location to find. Staff accommodating and no queues, not even at the bar! Happy hour was in full swing and we could buy wine at £10 a bottle, so the night didn't cost the earth. The three acts presented three very different types of humour.. prepare to laugh. One of the acts was very on 'the edge' - you... More

Bar Rumba is easy to get to. Train stations in close walking distance. Staff are friendly and the comedians we saw were very entertaining. A really great fun evening and if you want it to continue after the Comedy Carnival you can dance in the night club afterwards. A perfect evening!

Took a chance and booked the tickets last minute as part of a weekend to London. Went for the reserved seat option and luckily ended up on Row 2 as those on Row 1 were targets for all of the comedians, phew !! The seating is certainly "cosy" and you get to know the person next to you fairly well,... More

We booked a night at Comedy Carnival on a whim, for something different to do on a Friday night and we were certainly not disappointed. We laughed a lot and drinks were great value. The venue was really nice and intimate and the comics were great. A good mix to suit everyone's sense of humour!

I love stand up comedy and this venue did not disappoint! I had booked about 3 months in advance as it was for a birthday and we arrived to find we had reserved seats in the front row (a little worrying but luckily we didn't get picked on). The MC was brilliant and the comedians themselves were hilarious! They had... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
