I recently went to Cine Lumiere to see an Italian film at the London Film Festival. Staff were helpful, seating was comfortable. The only issue I had (hence the three stars) was the condition of the basement toilets. One did not flush properly and the men's loos were under refurbishment so there was more of a queue than normal.

Just been to see Le film Stranger By the Lake and really enjoyed the setting and whole atmosphere and will definitely be returning. Civilised, sophisticated, very french, ( but, unfussily so). We love French cinema anyway, so, a nice, new, hangout right on our doorstep. About time I got there as been meaning to for longtemps!

Certainly in our experience. Whats more, there is lots of room for one's legs, and the sight line for the screen is superb.( I am quite small). A beautiful marble entrance and charming staff make this a cinema worth going out of one's way for. I put down the lack of choice of real food, to the fact that it... More
