Bar Rumba is a late night club by Leicester Square which shows no restrain when it comes to a fun night out of dancing and drinking in the West End. The commercial music, chart hits, RnB and pop is the engine of this wild and crazy club but the generous happy hours and drinks promotions do their bit to fuel the spirits. There is also a comedy club side to Bar Rumba, especially on Friday and Saturdays.

Had an awful night here for a friend's birthday. Was told by a man working outside that as we were on the guest list, we would get free entry (even though we pointed out that it was past 11). When we got to the front of the queue it was £5 and the doormen were rude when I was arbitrarily... More

Came to the bar for a comedy night - great fun! Good comics and had the entertainment of a crazy heckler who ended up storming out after getting offended for no reason. The happy hour offers were pretty good. Had a few drinks in the bar/club afterwards. Was very cheesy and 90's in there!

Went here a few times, they play good tunes, there's a good atmosphere and the drinks are reasonably priced too. It can get a by hot and cramped in there as he venue isn't too big however it is a good club to go to if you get in early. We stayed till closure and enjoyed it thoroughly.

We went here for a friends 18th fair to see it was the worst atmosphere I've ever been to. Will not be going again. The drinks were expensive and the furnishings were poor. It was the only thing on a Sunday open so if you're thinking of going out on a Sunday don't bother...

I booked and paid for 6 comedy package tickets which included entry to club Bar Rumba after. The booking was paid for and confirmed so I called the club to also pay to reserve a space in the club 2 days before the booking was due to take place. I was told the system was down and I would get... More

This club is very dark, stinky, and very cramped overall. There is no room to move around or places to sit with a group of friends. The ceilings were very low, and overall, I just felt quite claustrophobic. I left early and went home. I will not be returning.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially since for some of my friends who accompanied me were going to a club for the first time and since we put our names on the guest list we were entitled to free entry which was a bonus. They helped them feel really comfortable there, also the music was enjoyable as the... More

We arrived at 11pm. We had previously bought the 2 4 1 wristbands. We where not on the guestlist which we were suppose to be. we get in and arrive to the strong smell of vomit. we quickly get to the bar where the bar staff have no knowledge of the 2 4 1 offer and have to argue to... More

To be brief: the music was awesome (they were only playing the latest hiphop &rnb that night) and the atmosphere was great as everyone was dancing and drinking like crazy! It can get a bit hot down there but that didnt keep anyone from having fun.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
