Bar Rumba is a late night club by Leicester Square which shows no restrain when it comes to a fun night out of dancing and drinking in the West End. The commercial music, chart hits, RnB and pop is the engine of this wild and crazy club but the generous happy hours and drinks promotions do their bit to fuel the spirits. There is also a comedy club side to Bar Rumba, especially on Friday and Saturdays.

During a weekend in London my boyfriend and I came to this club. The music was great and very friendly staff. Entry fee however was quite expensive, but by the end of the night it didn't really matter because we had such a great night there. Would recommend to people who like RnB, hip hop and a bit of house... More

Went here for my brothers birthday! Book a booth! More like 4 foot stalls! Anyway! Walked in and it smelt like a mix between puke and urine!! Very unpleasant! Don't want to ruin our night though so got drinks... Well rude incompetent staff!! Towards end of the night had a bottle thrown at our group of couples, and someone's hair... More

Small club, with great music! Bar staff are friendly and professional. Drinks can be a little prices, but you are in central London! Having been here many times, I tried booked a table for a friends birthday. The service of the staff dealing with my booking was excellent. They gave me multiple options for packages, and I didn't feel pressured... More

Condescending staff, programme not as advertised. We had to submit photo ID for entry to a comedy night on a Tuesday. Before we were allowed access to the venue, we were talked through a “Code of Conduct” which we had to agree to before entrance. This included patronising statements like “you must not talk during the comedy, but we want... More

Hi Nicole, Thanks for your comments and very sorry to hear you didn't have an enjoyable night with us. In regards to ID this is standard practise in the West End (we understand people who are not from London may be unaware however this is required by Westminster Council). The code of conduct is in place to try to ensure... More

Went for a friends 21st birthday and was rudely dealt with. Racist, scummy and unfriendly staff. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Hi Alex, Thank you for your feedback. After speaking with the General Manager he has informed me that he recalls your group and that one of your friends was refused entry due to being intoxicated. Here at Bar Rumba we do not operate any discriminatory policies and respect everyone equally. Kind regards, Bar Rumba Management More

As others have said you can easily touch the ceiling. There's only one airco in the not so small venue (sqm wise), which means it's just way too hot. But I really liked the music and the crowd. People were dancing and having fun, so if it wasn't for the heat I would've given it 4 stars.

On Friday 18th December, myself and a group of friends attended an organised event the 'Santa pub crawl' Bar rumba being one of the clubs of the event. Upon reaching Bar Rumba, the majority of our group got in the club. However, two members of our group, being quite drunk, were understandably, asked to stand outside a while, to sober... More

Went on the Santa Pub Crawl, made some friends. Unfortunately 5 of us weren't allowed in. We were told to stand to the side (We expected them to ask us to say our address or something) but after that we were just ignored. Fair enough if we'd had too much to drink but we knew exactly what was going on.... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
