Bar Rumba is a late night club by Leicester Square which shows no restrain when it comes to a fun night out of dancing and drinking in the West End. The commercial music, chart hits, RnB and pop is the engine of this wild and crazy club but the generous happy hours and drinks promotions do their bit to fuel the spirits. There is also a comedy club side to Bar Rumba, especially on Friday and Saturdays.

A basement bar and nightclub

Not too bad but a little tired, probably better when the lights are lower! Also admit that to be fair it's not really my scene!

Despite booking ages in advance with a £400 deposit, we turned up only to be turned away by a rude, power-hungry idiot. Avoid this place and certainly do not give them any money in advance or you'll be disappointed.

Funny pattern to the previous reviews. Positive reviews left by those who are making their first and often only post. Negative reviews left by those that have left countless reviews. The other pattern is that they promise you something in advance and then fail to deliever. We were on a stag do - not a fancy dress lad stag, just... More

Ministy of sound, pacha, fabric, are all decent nightclubs , do yourself a favour, book tickets in advance and go there, this place is dire Let's set the scene, i was on a stag do, now before you jump to any conclusions, we were annoyingly very sober still. The plan was to finish here, we had already paid the extortionate... More

Have wanted to go to this bar for ages, went with a group of 4 yesterday. Had it all sorted with the manager spoke to them on the phone and they said free entry....fabulous. Get there queue up, to be told I have to pay. I show the email stating my free entry...still have to pay. Show my id and... More

Visited for my 23rd birthday and every member of staff was so friendly making my evening very special. The venue was great and the music was on point! 3ft martini was awesome and couldn't take myself off of the Dancefloor. Was an awesome night all round. The party was late to the doors but we were still let in with... More

Went here with 4 mates a couple of weeks ago. It cost us £10 each to get in which was pushing their luck a bit in the first place, then £2 per item for coats/bags etc. They gave us a 'free shot' card which tasted like cheap fruit juice and definitely wasn't alcoholic. Eventually managed to get served at the... More

After visiting last night I was surprised to see that this place had so many good reviews, however upon looking at them in more detail, I realised that most of the 5 stars have come from accounts which have written no other reviews for Trip Advisor. All of the more realistic comments have come from more established contributors. Coincidence?? Avoid... More

we had our own reserved seating area everyone who came enjoyed themselves. We was looked after by the security and our host on the night his name was James who made our night even better than we ExpecteD. Really easy to organise as a large group reasonable prices compared to other clubs in central and majority staff are friendly... Thanks... More

It's horrible going to a place where the security guards are bullies who are such sad losers that they need to pick on people to feel better about themselves. If the owners want repeat customers they should fire the trouble making security guards (aka tall skinny one who stands by the coat room shining his flashlight into people's eyes). When... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
