We read about this park in our little travel book and found the description to to be interesting. It was described as being the most wooded and romantic park in London. I have to admit, the park is beautiful. Very wooded and in some sections you would feel like you were walking through a botanical garden. There were beautiful trees... More

The park is full of nice big trees. A must do is the Japanese Garden. It looks very authentic and is very relaxing to walk through the garden. There are fish, peacocks and many more animals to be seen. A small treasure.

This is probably my favorite park in London. From its manicured lawns to its wide range of trees. I get giddy as I watch the seasons change here. I also love coming to see the peacocks and hearing them cry at night before they fly up into the giant oak trees.

One of my favourite London Parks. Great for running, walking or relaxing. Some great spots to catch some sun (if you are lucky :-) The Japanese garden is small but very peaceful. The garden behind the YHA is an ideal place to relax in the summer. Definitely worth a stroll around if you are anywhere near Kensington

We attended the dedication ceremony for the fukushima garden, a separate area that has been added to the side of the Kyoto garden in Holland Park. Both gardens are worth a visit and reminded me of some of the finest gardens in Japan. The rest of the park was a bit of a let down after spending time in these... More

A very nice park with pleasant paths for walking or running. The Kyoto Garden is a highlight not to be missed - lovely to take a meditative stroll around the pond and watch the koi.

Holland Park is an ideal location for walking and relaxing just off Kensington High Street. I recommend this park and hope it can regain its former glory lost in the late 1990s.

Small compared to other parks like Kensington Park, it is all the more charming, lacking crowds. The Japanese garden donated and built by the Japanese is worth the visit alone. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the quiet. My photos say it all.

This is a real local park. It's got everything: space for children to play, sports pitches, formal gardens, woodland, a wildlife area, a cafe. . . then there's the beautiful Japanese garden, the wonderful Belvedere restaurant, and the fact that if you walk away from the busier areas you can almost image you're in countryside. In spring, full of bluebells.... More
