This bridge is right next to the south bank area which is a cool place to hang out. You get some good views of the city here, like the London eye and parliament on one side (although i'd say for better views and pics of those use westminster bridge), and city buildings like the 'walkie talkie', the shard and the... Only bridge I even seen in central London where you can park (at night), indeed a number of cars park up just to take photos. However, I always think of The Kinks' Waterloo Sunset when crossing even though you cannot see a sunset from here! The view down stream to Tower Bridge and over the city, are some of the... More

I frequently use this bridge and I love it!! As I walk over it, I can reflect on life. Watching the boats moving or the boats which are stationary filled with customers having fun. Watching the changes on the river and looking at the wonderful sights including Big Ben, Westminster Palace ,London Eye, The Shard, Royal Festival Hall, St. Paul's... More

Set on a slow bend on the river Thames, with the City of Westminster to the West and the City of London to the east Waterloo bridge rightly enjoys its prestigious status as a romantic and spectacular place to view a panorama of London. Take a map to spot the many famous buildings, from the Palace of Westminster to St... More

Waterloo Bridge is the most favorite site I'd like to stay-put on whenever I really need to relax and have a think of my life. From the distance one can see Big Ben, London Eye, Royal Festival Hall, The Shard, St. Paul's Cathedral and The City, and other historical and significant buildings. One will be at peace just standing on... More

Was there this weekend (mid feb'14) and my partner had so check some mails so had a chance to watch the pick pockets work. A group of around 15 eastern europeans were walking up and down the bridge trying to rob people. Very simply in plain sight. I feel ashamed we expose our guests to this kind of risk. Guys... More

Fortunately for me I get to walk across this bridge and enjoy the views on my way to and from my office. On a clear morning it is a great start to the day and a reminder of why I live in one of the world's best cities. Come night time the skyline is lit up with Big Ben, London... More
