We have just returned from a sightseeing visit to London, this was our 4th visit and on previous occasions we have always used the big bus tour but this time was not a success. On our first day we waited in for 45 mins for a tour bus to turn up, the attendant was very unfriendly and we were £64... More

We were on the Red Tour with Frank as guide and Ian Driving. The tour which takes about 21/2 hours covers all the main sights with a really good view from the top deck. The commentary from Frank was informative and entertaining so the time flew by. The opportunity to get on and off as you wish to see more... More

Always using Big Bus Tours ASAP when arriving to a new city to get a quick overview of the city and locations of different tourist attractions, to then know what to actually visit during my next days. Using maps and tourist guides is one thing, but with the hop-on-hop-off Big Bus Tours it is all much more convenient and it... More

We had the best time riding the big bus in the rain see the sights and listening to the guide. The map was helpful. But when hop off for bathroom, then wanted to hop on, we had to wait a very long time. Counted other buses passing by and realized this one was the most infrequent line. Waiting in the... More

I purchased the one day Big Bus ticket with a promotional free extra day. I believe the ticket always includes a river tour. The first day I waited 50 minutes for my first bus ride at Lancaster Station. The employee there made phone calls a couple of times and kept telling me they would be there in a "couple of minutes".... Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you had such a long wait for the bus. London like any other big city does have traffic congestion which is often quite sparodic and unpredictable and can cause delays to our service. I am surprised to hear that you say there was not a live Guide on our... More

After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried about taking this tour. But I shouldn't have worried at all. Firstly I wasn't sure where to catch the Green Link bus from Kings Cross Railway Station so I emailed the Big Bus Tours. They replied almost immediately with the details. We found the bus stop easily. Very conveniently... More

No live guide as promised in brochure. On a Saturday bus took very long in traffic. Better to go by tube/underground to all different places. When you have a travel guide, wiki or app on your phone this is way cheaper, faster and more rewarding.

All of our Red Tours are live guided, guaranteed. I can only assume you traveled on our Blue Tour buses that have recorded commentary. Having said that I am sorry you did not enjoy nor get the best from your day with us. More

The bus tour staff were nice and professional, however, the London traffic is so horrendous (with road works). that an indicated 2 hour tour took us more than 4 hours just to get to the Tower and have a short Thames Tour. I the end, it was taking so long to get anywhere (sitting for 30 minutes in a traffic... More

Thank you for your feedback on Big Bus Tours. It appears that you experienced some problems and that your day did not go as well as we would expect. London can have some bad traffic hold ups and often theses are sparodic and difficult to predict. More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
