The London Zoo is a good manageable size to walk around. Favourite areas for our family are the reptile house, gorillas and giraffes. Lots of grassy areas to sit and relax on a warm day. Definitely recommend.

Disappointed that you cannot buy a family ticket at the gate. We had vouchers and therefore were told that we could not buy tickets on line, but we're not told that family tickets were unavailable. For a family with two small children 3 and 5 it is a very expensive day. Not the best zoo in UK, disappointed with the... More

Nice zoo...well kept. Animals looked clean and well looked after. Queues for food were very long. Shame there were no elephants! Downside...VERY expensive to go in - they do take 10% off if you don't pay the "optional" donation.

Using our Tesco Clubcard vouchers we took four adults, a child and two under-threes to London Zoo for very little money. The sun was shining and it wasn't crowded. We had a lovely day seeing all the animals and playing in the play areas. Lunch at the Terrace restaurant was good too. Definitely recommend.

Despite having vouchers for admission, with 'voluntary' donations and guidebooks, we spent £20 before we started (on top of what would have been £90 entry fee for a family of 4). The zoo itself is good, apart from the lack of elephants (all at Whipsnade) and the one tiger we could see. The shows and talks are excellent though, even... More

My son chose this attraction for our recent trip to London,we like zoos so to visit London Zoo we expected something amazing. Cost for entry was £70 for 2adults and a child. First stop the aquarium...it was dirty falling apart and not at all exciting. The other animals were all in bed, luckily you could view them sleeping through the Windows.... More

Easter holidays so thought we'd venture here. We used 2 for 1 as we went by train so saved alot. 8 of us went and each of us had a different 'best bit'. Mine was the bugs, fantastic! Was so in awe I didn't even see the ants crawling on the ropes right in front of me. So informative. The... More

We visited the zoo as part of our sightseeing weekend in London. It was included in our London Pass. The entrance is a short walk of about 10-15 minutes away from Camden Tube Station. If you have pre-paid tickets or the London Pass don't go all the way to the main entrance. On your way you will see a sign,... More

I took my 5 year old sister to the zoo and was a little disappointed. First we were advised by their website to get the tube to regents park and walk for 20 minutes - I don't think they realised that many would be trying to get a young child to walk the majority of the park in the heat.... More
