We used 2 for 1 entry tickets with National rail, otherwise it would have been very expensive. Downside was you can't pre-book so have to queue. Luckily we got there about 11.30 and were in by about 12. We had a fantastic afternoon, we were there 5 hours, non stop, bar a quick sandwich break. Feet were killing us all... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day. My six year old was lucky enough to have the opportunity to feed Molly the giraffe (courtesy of Grandma and the Giraffe Encounter). I had trouble finding the meeting point for the encounter, but Michael went out of his way to help me even though he was merely emptying the bins when I asked... More

Visited with my grown-up son for first time since he was a toddler. Had a very pleasant afternoon. Unfortunately had to queue for 40 minutes to get in. I would advise you to pre-book on the internet as this will get you to the front of the queue. Unfortunately we did not have this option as we were doing the... More

Well my disappointment actually started before I even arrived. My partner had arranged for me to have the "feeding the lions" experience. It was booked months in advance, and then at the 11th hour we got an email from the zoo to cancel it. We went anyway and the whole place just looked a bit tired and in need of... More

We took our six year old grandson and he was bored within an hour of going through the gate. The big cats were just lazing around at the far end of their paddocks virtually out of site and many other pens seemed to be empty. Some species were not visible at all in the Bug house. A bit steep at... More

Had a lovely afternoon at the zoo, saw plenty of animals and had lots of fun. We had 2 for 1 tickets so with 4 of us this worked out at £13 each. I thought this was a reasonable price to pay. Had we paid full price I think I would have been gutted. For the price we paid it... More

We went to London zoo not knowing what to expect but we had a great day. We are in our 20's and loved it. The park is fun and full of info with very helpful staff and the animals are clearly well looked after. The children around us were loving their time in the zoo. If you love animals then... More

Not a cheap day out at £26 but there was plenty to do and see. Everything was well signposted a good free map got you round the numerous animals. Favourite bits were the reptile house, aquarium, Gorillas and Giraffes.

This is a good place to visit with lots of animals and if it is wet there are indoor parts as well. The staff are very good and helpful.

For £21 the value wasn't too bad, but why not just make it an even £20? Anyway after my friend paid an extra £7 for a little canvas bag and a tour book I was already annoyed at the prices! How ever the price is almost fully justified by seeing the 3 amazing Gorillas! They are incredible animals and should... More
