We visit London at least once a year and usually make our regular 'pilgrimage' to the Zoo! I must say that, during recent years, some areas were beginning to look somewhat 'rundown' but there appear to be changes afoot. Prepare to spend a full day as there are lots of things to see! As previously stated, tube links are not... More

Summer holidays and I was tired of sitting around waiting for the weather to improve. So, it was a grey and rainy day when I ventured to the London Zoo with my two children in tow. We dressed for the weather with lots of water-proof clothing and umbrellas and set off. What a great day we had!! I'm quite certain... More

Entrance fee for this zoo is expensive. However, you can do it more cheaply on special offers: sometimes British Rail do them, and I used Tesco clubcard vouchers to get day-out vouchers so we got in for a quarter of the price. You just turn your Tesco Clubcard points into day-out vouchers on the Tesco Clubcard website - nb they... More

Caught the train down into London with the family and mother-in-law and then caught the tube to Regent's Park. A walk through the park following the signposts was very pleasant. Being annual pass holders, we were allowed in via the quick entry gate, unfortunately the mother-in-law had to queue due to not being a member, however, by the time we... More

Absolutely loved London Zoo, so much to see. Everything is spread out so doesn't feel that busy! Highlight for me was feeding the goats and watching the Penguins (could have sat there and watched them all day) We had a 241 voucher, definitely worth getting! We will definitely be going back when the lions have returned

I often visited London Zoo as a child, my Grandad helped build parts of it and he loved to take me. I hadn't been for about 15 years so was excited to go, and I was not disappointed. I had looked the prices up online and used my Tesco vouchers for entry. We were given a handy map and headed... More

It was a really enjoyable day with lots of animals to see. The highlight for us had to be the amazing monkeys and gorillas. We also watched the penguin show which was informal but most of the session was spend dressing two children up as penguins which took up a lot of time. Very enjoyable day. We will be back... More

I enjoyed seeing real life penguins swimming. The only problem I had during my visit was that there was some closed attractions such as the lions were no around and a few more. I loved the butterfly cove since they fly around you.
