We fed Lucifer the male lion with chunks of meat, which was amazing although a little scary! It was well worth the price (£90 each) for such an exciting experience. The keeper was lovely and very knowledgeable. We also had a wonderful day wandering around the zoo: favourites were the male gorilla, newborn llamas (less than a day old!), pigs,... More

Very enjoyable visit to london zoo. Lots to see and the animals appear well looked after. Due to it being tight on space there's not all the animals you might hope to see (elephants and rhinos), but I think that's for the best given limitations.

I would disagree with some of the negative comments left. At the end of the day a zoo is a place to learn about different types of animal and how we can help save them. Sure theres no elephants or rhino etc but we all no what they look like. It was nice to see some of the more unusual... More

Got the tube to camden town which is the nearest tube station. 15 minute walk to the zoo from there and very well sign posted. Got there a few minutes after opening and there was a queue which wasn't surprising as it was good Friday. The queue went down quickly and I was inside in ten minutes. I would advise... More

The worst dining experience ever the restaurant was chaotic you queue all over the place for food then queue again for paying by which time your food is cold tables left dirty for ages and it's not cheap . I have visited zoos in many countries in holiday times where they manage to give you and your family an all... More

I went during Easter break with my 9 year old. We didn't have to queue for very long which was good, the team there seem to have queue busters. We got a brilliant deal from our train company which was a 2 for 1 entry offer. Entry cost me £26 which is average for a London attraction. I have to... More

Although there was a bit of a queue as we wanted to use the National Rail 2for1 voucher we got in within twenty minutes. We spent approximately four hours in the zoo, Gorillas were amazing as were the giraffes. Can't say the same about the one tiger & one lion, both asleep! Saying that very lovely zoo with good enclosures.... More

Liked the city location, a very good day out and used Tesco tokens so was excellent value too. All the animals looked well cared for. There wasn't anything we disliked.

My daughters and I visited the London zoo on Wednesday April 9, 2014. As we were walking into the zoo, we were accosted by some individuals who asked if we were interested in becoming members. At the entrance of the zoo, we were made to take a photograph. The lines were long but moved fairly quickly! We got a map... More
