My friend was unable to attend the zoo and offered me the tickets last minute. So I came to London Zoo - Sunset Safari without really any knowledge of what to expect or see. So if any of the management are reading this - this is a review from the point of view of someone who didn't do any prior... More

This zoo has conservation written in its genes, in the beautiful Park this is a gem. Mark out early where you want to go , the big cats always a draw but the reptile house is a great draw as is the monkey enclosures the elephants etc etc etc ! Plenty to eat and drink but great for a picnic... More

We were surprised at the size of the zoo. Kids loved it. We were pleasantly surprised at how long we could spend there. Our daughter particularly liked the giraffes, one appeared to even be purposely posing for photos! Bit of a walk for young children from the tube stations, but as it was a lovely sunny day we couldn't really... More

I recently visited the zoo for their sunset safari evening. As zoo's go it is pretty standard, though a few of the enclosures are looking a little tired and need a brush up. There are building works going on for the new lion enclosure as well. Although all in all I had a nice evening here, there are a number... More

We purchased an annual pass for whipsnade and you can use it here too. We visited a handful of times but to be honest i didnt really enjoy it as much as i hoped. It was v v busy and you couldnt escape the crowds so it felt small and cramped. I did love the penguins though.

A large zoo which should be a full day for familys and couples alike. Good attractions like a walk through butterfly house and Avery. Also a good aquarium. When a a very hot day, which I wouldn't recommend. Cost £25 per head but we got 20% off with a London tourist map!

This is certainly the most expensive zoo I have ever been to and I've been to quite a lot around the word. Still, the enclosures were very unique. We particularly liked the "walk among" exhibits where you could be very close to the animals. There was an amazing one with little monkeys that would come up and seem right next... More

I decided to treat my wife for her birthday with a "Sunset Safari" on a Friday night. This when the Zoo opens again at 6pm for special ticket holders (I bought mine through an Amazon Local offer). I suppose my expectation was to have a more relaxed visit without as many kids screeching around, and get some more specialist inside... More

We booked the sunset safari and went last night. We were really excited to be given the chance to be part of what we imagined to be a "back stage pass" to animals' lives in the zoo and get real experience of the zoo after hours with a few other people.....What we got seemed to be a normal opening day,...
