This was a really great experience, especially with the commentary. The views are brilliant and the information was entertaining. We took three trips in two days and the one after dark was fabulous!

We traveled from Greenwich to Tower Bridge. I have visited London many times and it is the first time I have been on the Riverboats. You get a good view of London form the river. Definitely worth trying if you are in London.

We pre booked our tickets and arrived after our train and tube journey at Westminster Pier. We travelled to Greenwich on the Chay Blyth and we given an excellent commentary about all the sights, historical events and some funny stories from the surrounding area. Well worth trying this. Greenwich is lovely and quieter than central London.

Thoroughly enjoyed our cruise up The Thames on the riverboats. Interesting and funny commentary as you cruise along. Great way to see some of the sights.

We enjoyed a lovely day on the river aboard a Thames Riverboat. Our guide was one of the watermen who was very amusing and very informative; pointing out the sights and best places to take photographs. I reckon a river boat trip is one of the best ways to see the sights of London.

It takes you from tower bridge to near London eye Very interesting and doesn't consume much time In September the weather was great to be in open air and the waiting lines were not long

After wandering around Hampton Court Palace, which we arrived at by train, thought a leisurely trip back by river boat to Westminster Pier would be nice. Wrong. Boring. No commentary, lacklustre amenities, and uncaring crew. nearly fell asleep. Wish I had.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
