The perfect present for someone who likes planes....and absolutely fascinating as a passenger! Great staff who get the pilot involved from minute one. Would definitely recommend an hour so you get the practice....and look out for the offers. I got mine half price through amazon local. Seen the comments about the background noise...but to be honest.....I was so absorbed in... More

I haven't been flying too much of computer simulators. I loved this! Important part was real cockpit with all the controls, how difficult it was to keep controlling those few things, tried night-time with meters only, thunderstorm etc. Naturally would be cool to have hydraulic one but checked those and that's totally different price range. Some said it bothers to... More

I was given the 15 minute experience "Flight" as a gift by my wife. Being an aviation nut, this was a logical choice. I've had the opportunity of an introductory flying lesson at our local light aircraft airport, and thoroughly enjoyed it, but being able to fly in something bigger, is restricted to highly trained pilots, so the gift of... I bought a 30minutes simulator session as a birthday present for my husband. This had been advertised as a flight simulator session in which you can learn to take off and land a plane from a choice of 1000's of airports. We were very disappointed to find that the simulator was very basic with three screens in front of two... More

This was booked for me as a present. I would not recommend this as a gift, I have been to a few simulators and these were the worst. The back sim is better but gets very hot, the front one just looks horrible. The instructors are amazing but you can see they are pushed for sales as that's all they... More

Was bought 2 30mins as my 50th birthday present. I shared it with my best friend. I didn't know it was going to be in basically a shop with the noise of screaming kids outside. I wasn't aware there was a "back room" version or I would have chosen that. To be fair the guys were nice and pleasant in... More

Our family of four spent an afternoon flying with Captain Ross. It was one of the most memorable afternoons we have spent as a family. Our instructor, Ross, trains commercial pilots as well as nervous flyers (like me). It not only increased my comfort with flying, it was a treat to be able to sit behind my teenaged daughter and... Took 2 x 11 yo boys who are both mad on flight on a Bank Holiday Monday. Westfield Centre was a nightmare - incredibly busy and the iPilot unit was not easy to find. Also, I found booking quite hard, as the person I spoke to on the phone did not have english as a first language - I'm not... More

I booked an hour "night flight" for an evening while I was in London on holiday. They did ask if I would like the cd\dvd and a picture, which I took being on vacation and all, but they didn't strike me like the types to stress out over a few pounds. I am a recreational pilot and found the graphics... More
