Description: All aboard the ‘orrible omnibus for a ride around the dark side of London...
All aboard the ‘orrible omnibus for a ride around the dark side of London. The Ghost Bus Tours’ classic Routemaster has been redesigned to give passengers London’s first ‘Fright Bus’ service. On-board actors and technical trickery combine to create the scariest tour in town. A creepy conductor provides the commentary for this sinister sightseeing show, revealing haunted places, unmarked burial grounds and the skeletons in the capital’s cupboard.

Took friends on the Ghost Bus Tour when they came to visit last week. We ranged in age from 12 to 50 so finding something to suit everyone was difficult but we managed it in the Ghost Bus Tour. I can't say too much without giving away things that would spoil it for anybody thinking of taking the tour, but... More

An amusing jaunt around London by night. Surprisingly I actually learnt a few new facts about my own capital city, and had some laughs along the way. A little cheesy and over-dramatic at times, but the two 'actors' on board brought us all plenty of laughs and I would recommend it for anyone over the age of six. Our little... More

Wedding Anniversary Mini Break Review... Went on the Ghost Bus Tour as an anniversary treat on 21/7/15 at 9pm. Firstly it's a show as good as any in the West End... But on wheels! The cast are superb. The script is superb. The mix of historical fact is spot on. In fact it's a must. As a theatre designer and... More

Ghost bus tours is a must when visiting London. It was very entertaining and had me crying with laughter at some stages. My 9 year old son got a little scared towards the end but part from that he thought it was great fun too. I purchased my tickets using the Tesco club card boost which in a way made... More

We saw the bus 2 years ago in South London and immediately added it to our To Do list. It was my partners birthday so I booked this as one of the surprises. I was annoyed that this was booked months ago at full price but people turned up with 241 vouchers that were not valid on a weekend but... More

Absolutely no resemblance of description giving on website of what tour involves. Passing comment on someone being hung, drawn and quartered and another being decapitated. All interesting information that could have been gained lost by the "conductor" trying to be humorous and a scripted side plot that my 7 year child could have added more substance to. Sexual innuendos throughout... More

We saw one of the busses drive past us a couple of years ago and really wanted to go on it. So this time we booked. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. This was suppose to be a ghost bus tour of London but instead we got a totally rubbish bus ride with very little info given. The... More

We felt completely mis-sold. The London Ghost Bus Tour is neither "horror theatre" nor a "spooky and funny experience". The acting was very bad and cheesy, the tour was conducted by a Russel Brand want-to-be and a drama drop out pretending to be a Health and Safety officer. Billed as a family tour but littered with innuendo and inapporpriate comments... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
