All aboard the ‘orrible omnibus for a ride around the dark side of London. The Ghost Bus Tours’ classic Routemaster has been redesigned to give passengers London’s first ‘Fright Bus’ service. On-board actors and technical trickery combine to create the scariest tour in town. A creepy conductor provides the commentary for this sinister sightseeing show, revealing haunted places, unmarked burial grounds and the skeletons in the capital’s cupboard.

If you want to see some of the top london sights with a smile on your face and keep Tweens entertained this is a great tour. We went with our 11 and 12 year old. The background stories may be a bit gory, but still interesting and it is a relatively quick circuit to see some of London's top sights.... More

We found this tour more interesting than scary. The 'conductor' described all the gory murders which had taken place in the famous buildings and also told us about the history of the building itself. It was very informative and it was a comfortable ride on the top floor of the bus which saved us a lot of legwork. We did... More

It's difficult to write a review without spoiling the actual experience so I will just say this.... Easy to book on line. Meeting point was easy to find. Tour was informative not just about ghostly shenanigans but also London in general. Bus conductor and health & safety inspector were fantastic, funny, scary and provided an excellent tour which was both... More

I was expecting something a little more scary than what we got. It was great to hear the stories about London but it was quite cheesy.

Saw this on the Internet, booked it as I like stuff like this. Glad I did, me & my friend had a great time. Good information about the background of some haunted places. The actors made it it so funny, defo would do it again & so worth doing it you want to have a laugh x

We've done the tour and absolutely loved it. But more than that, we hired them to take our wedding guests from the ceremony to the evening reception - It was absolutely brilliant. Definitely consider them if you're after some unique transportation!

this tour lasted an hour & it was crap all the way through. Not scarey at all, just 2 guys having fun & making lots of money. Please dont waste £21 on this, go & have a meal instead.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
