The Ghost Bus Tours’ classic Routemaster has been redesigned to give passengers London’s first ‘Fright Bus’ service. We loved the theatrical entertainment, the ghost stories of London and the characters who told them. They were funny and entertaining.

We're Londoners but we thought we'd be tourists this evening and join the Ghost Bus tour. Without spoiling anything, we giggled for the entire trip. Everything was done with terrific commitment and it was a very funny evening. I recommend this to any tourist who wishes to sample a bit of silly British humour.

We booked this last minute with seeing the bus on the previous night, which looked fab being the old style. Can't fault the staff or the bus but the tour really isn't worth the money paid. Nothing spooky about it, just like being on the normal city tour bus just a bit more theatrical. Tour lasted 1 hour

I was leery about this one because I strongly dislike being scared. But I enjoyed it very much! It was paced well and filled with the rich history of London. The conductor and inspector are incredible at what they do. They work hard to make the tour memorable and they succeed. I'm so happy to give them the proper praise... More

If you go down to London Town, you’re sure of a big surprise. For there’s black cabs, red buses, Beefeaters, the Queen, and, among it all, something you never thought you’d see. It appears like a thief in the night, an old Routemaster bus painted from top to tail in black. A small crowd has already gathered to await its... More

The Ghost Bus Tour is a very funny and original way to come to know London and realize how fascinating the City is, especially at night. The bus is decorated in a vintage style, inspired in the last Century, the lights are dimmed and this contributes to create a very spooky atmosphere. The actors are actually very hilarious and entertain... More

Went on this with my three teenage kids and they really enjoyed it with plenty of laughter going on, I was a bit dubious at first but ended up enjoying it as well. Slightly pricey as it cost us £60 but it us entertaining and the actors are brill and put in loads of effort to give a good show.

Our first experience of a ghost tour and we chose the evening bus tour at York. Would not recommend this at all- felt £47 for a family of four was extremely over-priced. No real atmosphere or surprise. Not very dramatic or theatrical. Very disappointed. Some parts were informative and our 10 and 12 year old children did enjoy it.

The actors could not be faulted - they were hilarious and really tried to deliver a great and thrilling experience. However, the format has so much potential that just did not deliver. Unfortunately, the experience could have delivered so much more though by 1) making more use of cunning CCTV trickery, 2) using a more compelling script with a more... More
