The Ghost Bus Tours’ classic Routemaster has been redesigned to give passengers London’s first ‘Fright Bus’ service. I have just got in from the 9pm tour In York and I loved it. Its the amazing combination of the dungeons, a ghost walk and a bus tour. I was litteraly shaking when I left, but I wont spoil it you will have to see what happens for yourself. The Guide (Ramsey Trotte) was excellent and kept you interested... More

We went on the 7.30pm tour in York on Wednesday 23rd July 2014, bit shocked at the prices (£41 for 2 adults and one teenager), couldn't see any prices on board outside bus on Exhibition Square so felt slightly put upon to then pay as the person who took our money wanted to take my name down with how many... no.1 They cancelled the 7:30pm tour apparently due to "maintenance" but it was obvious it was because there was 15 people booked in and it would be more cost effective to them to squeeze everyone on the 9pm tour & half the running cost. No.2 They split up a family with two young boys again because that would mean they... More

3 of us went on this tour in York. The bus itself is brilliant and has been decorated to add to the spooky atmosphere. The accompanying background music also added to the atmosphere. I'm not going to ruin this for people wanting to go on the tour by saying what happens but it is very entertaining. However, the scariest thing... More

It sounds like you really enjoyed the York tour overall, which is great! At £15, we must be the cheapest theatre show in town. Theatre shows in York range from £20 to £60 per ticket, some of the other bus tours some walking tours are cheaper- but you don't get a guide, let alone a trained actor to show you... More

What an excellent attraction, the actors work very hard to make this a brilliant experience...... you ride along in the bus and ride along with the story being acted out around you, learning more about the city than you previously noticed..... definately recommend and would ride again..... one word of warning though, make sure you know the prices before you... This is basically a tour of a few London sites on an old routemaster bus, decked out appropriately for the occasion! The conductor played a very good part in narrating the tour, but to be honest parts of it got a bit silly. Probably better if you have not been on one of the hop-on, hop-off bus tours of London... Sounds like you enjoyed your tour! Our script has won awards for its high standard of comedic creativity, and our actors are all professionally trained masters of theatre and improvisation. But our particular brand of comedy is very unique. Price wise, we think if you compare us to other theatre shows in London, you'll see what great value for money... More

Was laughing on the bus from start to finish. The conductor had us laughing at his jokes from start to end while still giving some insight to the history of the city. Would recommend it to anyone!

This was a really fun tour. The guides were entertaining and had great stories. Most of the tour is done via a tv screen which I suppose is the best way as it is a double-decker bus and they have to please everyone. There was a lot going on and time seemed to fly by. It did feel scripted at... More
