We have wanted to see this show for a long time and eventually got to see it during this visit to London. It was very good apart from the first 15 minutes which were very slow and I did wonder whether we had made a good choice. After that it got very lively and enjoyable. However, do be aware that... The show itself is fantastic and would easily give it 5 stars. The problem for me was the theatre, I know it can't be helped with it being an old theatre, but the legroom and view were poor. I'm 6ft 1 so I knew in advance the legroom would be an issue but this is normally made up by the... More

Waw. Outstanding, stunning, wonderful... I don't have enough worlds to describe what I have just witnessed ! The actors/singers/dancers are truly talented, the music is really good and the staging is perfect. I laughed and I cried over this must seen musical.

Brilliant, loved it, though bit shocked with some of the language with the children...., I know it was the era, but hopefully they know to leave it at the theatre.

Went to see this on Friday 20th November with my daughter. Was a bit shocked by the language used by the children but this did not stop my enjoyment. Thought the young Billy's performance was good but would have liked to see more of the older Billy. Thought the little bit that he did was superb. Good enjoyable night

We went to see this show earlier this year, and I must admit I didn't think I was going to enjoy it, having just seen lion king but I loved it !!! I had read a lot of reviews complaining about the language, but it would not have the same impact without it, and I thought it was hilarious 😀... More

really enjoyed the show and had an access booking as my mother is in a wheelchair and my father cannot walk very well. Only gave it 4 stars due to Ticket Master who made the access booking for us for the wheelchair, who put a party inlcuding disabled people into the middle of a group of around 100 school children... I thought I would hate this musical intact i was close to not even going in the end! I've never seen the movie and it just did not seem my cup of tea at all! I'm not a massive musicals fan so I really never ever even considered watching this show (I got free tickets from a friend). But O... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
