I have never seen Billy Elliot, so I was unaware of it having more than a few inappropriate words. I loved the show and the cast was amazing; however, I would have not taken my eight year old daughter though had I researched it some more. All of the adds displayed it as a family friendly show for 8 and... More

My husbands face dropped when I asked to see this performance! But, within 5 minutes of it starting we were both laughing out loud. Much better than I was expecting, acting and singing fantastic. Yes there is some ballet it, but this musical is definitely not just for dancers. Don't go if you find swearing offensive, because there is a... More

This show was great! I have seen the film a million times and when the show came to broadway I was adamant I had to see it. I finally got tickets and took my mum. The songs were great and there were many funny parts! I would recommend this show it was so much fun and conveniently located by Victoria... More

Absolutely amazing! Loved the film but the show is 100 times better!! The Billy that we saw on the Friday night was just incredible, it's unbelievable how talented he can be at that young age. The amount of hard work and training that the young boys put into this show is second to none and my mum and I, both... More

We arrived in London Friday evening and went straight to the performance. Our 2 teenage daughters laughed and applauded all the way through as did my husband and myself. Our only negative comment was the lack of leg room in the circle seats, but this didn't spoil our evening we would love to return to watch again.

Saw this show yesterday. What a treat! The young man playing Billy was phenomenal. The whole cast were exceptional. The person who choreographed the show is to be congratulated. BUT, don't take young children, although it has an industrial setting the to frequently used bad language is inexcusable.

My daughter and I went to see Billy Elliot during our recent trip to London. I have to agree with Coral G's comment, it was very 'SHOUTY' which wasn't necessary. As for the swearing, may be this could have been toned down a little by not highlighting it by SHOUTING. Even though it probably fits in with the erra and... More

I have not wanted to see this show for many years, but a friends child was appearing in it so wanted to go to support them. It was an excellent show, great story line and well acted by those on the stage, felt I was back in the mining village during the strikes. Would highly recommend it, I am converted... More

We took our 9 year old, suffice o say the language was the same as the film. The performance was excellent by all the actors. My son thought there was so many funny bits. I had to tell him about the police and miners. The police dance was very good.
