Did this with my wife today as part of a visit to our city celebrating 30 years of marriage. We got much more than the usual 3 revolutions, which I think would have been very poor value. Good views over the river, but not as good as the Radio City Tower (aka St John's Beacon) To improve the value a... More

Do give this a try if you are in Liverpool. Not hugely cheap at £9.00 an adult but great scenes and happy helpful staff.

I initially thought it was a bit over priced at £25 for a family for 12 minutes. I soon changed my mind when I got up to the top... The best view of a very beautiful city. Even better that we had clear skies, if visiting again I would go on again at night.

We got a groupon deal and went when it was dark. The lights across the town were romantic and very pretty. You can see for miles and spot all the iconic buildings.

The experience is similar to the London Eye but overpriced at £9 for three revolutions. For a cheaper better view of the city try the Liverpool beacon or the view from the Anglican Cathederal

We went with friends, and with a groupon voucher, it made it very reasonable although full price would have been a bit steep! Views were amazing and plenty if time on the wheel to take photos etc and if you miss it, you go round 3 or 4 times so you can catch it the next time round!

The Liverpool Echo Wheel is a great place to view the city, the far reaching hills of Wales and down the river to the sea beyond. I was, as a solo traveller, a little nervous of being in the pod alone, but once the wheel started moving and the sites of the city rose before me I was well and... More

This giant wheel gives fantastic views over the Liverpool Dock area. You get 3 turns round, that is plenty if time to get lots of photos of the buildings especially The Three Graces.

I loved going on this. The views (you wouldn't think so by night but you'd be wrong) are amazing. The cathedral look immense and everything looks so pretty. Yes it was a bit windy but I loved it. The staff were nice and friendly too. Not badly priced neither.
