Interesting Tudor manor next to Speke airport.

Fascinating stories told about the inhabitants of Speke hall. The furniture is well placed and the curators well informed . Plenty to see and do in a relatively small house.

Living quite near to Speke Hall, one of its greatest assets is that the grounds are dog friendly and you can sit outside for lunch or a snack. Not all National Trust properties offer this, which means if you are a member with dogs, your visiting can be severely restricted. Luckily for us, Speke's dog friendly policies mean that we... More

Recently visited Speke Hall after having promised ourselves to go over the years. It was well worth the wait. Well organised with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Interesting history of the hall, beautiful gardens. Nice refreshment facilities. Plenty of lovely walks, it is a place that has it all. Would definitely recommend.

Dislikes - unfortunately we were unable to go inside (our fault - too late). Loved the grounds though.

This National Trust property has plenty of interest for everyone. The rooms are on a domestic scale, rather than very grand. All the room stewards were helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcome.

The National Trust has surpassed itself on this. It is probably the best Trust day I've had! We also included the trip to Paul McCartney's and John Lennon's houses. The driver Phil was great and the talks by staff excellent! Very moving experience. Ten out of ten!! Not to be missed. (Incidentally, I'm not particularly a Beatles fan but still... More

We visit Speke Hall many times throughout the year as its our nearest NT property. Its lovely to pack a picnic and take public transport to the property, walking around the bund' and watching the planes take off or simply just having 'Afternoon Tea' in the cafe. I Love to visit durring early/mid spring to see the Bluebells in the... More

This attraction could have kept me entertained for a full day! We started the day with a tour given by Sheila, which was excellent, entertaining, and a great preview to the entire history and layout of the estate. The tour was followed by a wander about the house where guides were readily available to fill in with interesting stories or... More
