Lovely farm produced food

This is a great cafe/snack bar. The food is great, very 'home cooked and nourishing. Portions are very generous and the staff are lovely. The surroundings are fantastic

Good day out great if your a member of the trust bit pricey if your not. Would recommend going with nice weather. Food is great in the cafe ( Scouse Recommended ) but again the price lets it down i paid over £ 52.00 for two meals and 2 drinks .....Even Ramsey isn't that pricey

Speke Hall transports you back in time and is a meticulously maintained Tudor House. Things are very well preserved and presented and lived in, so much so that I felt I was snooping round someones house. The William Morris textiles, paintings, carved panels are all gorgeous. The garden and woodland cannot be missed, I've seen it in Spring and Autumn... More

This was an interesting visit. The house is in excellent condition, well laid out and with good guides throughout. Th garden was nice, but shame about the weather! The cafe was nice, especially the scone!

I go to this house every time I'm in Liverpool - it's one of the National Trust's finest treasures. It's not grand and stately - it's a proper house where you could imagine people living and going about their business. It's built round a courtyard, and there are many rooms to see - although it's essentially a Tudor building, the... More

Another fine National Trust property kept in excellent order and with enthusiastic, knowledgeable volunteers. Near the airport but airport has few flights.

What a terrible shame that the airport runway is pretty much attached to this lovely house. The house itself was very nice but having aircraft landing and taking off right by this property spoils the whole experience. Not the NT's fault of course but you can hardly hear yourself think with the roar of the engines every few minutes. Went... More

My family and friends were staying locally at the Forest Hills Hotel. As we are members of National Trust, we decided to visit Speke Hall. However we made a dreadful mistake in that we arrived after 2pm,and we had little time to truly explore the attraction. Essentially, not only do you have the house, which was magnificent, you have the... More
