The Magical Mystery Tour is Liverpool's original Beatles tour which takes you on an entertaining journey to the places where John, Paul, George and Ringo lived, met and hung out as they formed the band that took the pop world by storm. See the places that inspired songs such as Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, stand outside the houses where they lived and enjoy plenty of Fab Four tunes along the way. The tour finishes with a visit to the world famous Cavern Club where The Beatles played 292 times. This is the only tour to give you free general admission to the Cavern after your tour. Private tailor-made tours can also be arranged for your group in the Magical Mystery Tour people-carrier, minibus or coach! Translations of the tour commentary are available in French, German, Italian and Spanish.

We booked this tour for Saturday afternoon. I was a little sceptical not being a Beatles fan but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour is 2 hours and takes in childhood homes, Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Great value as you get admission into the Cavern Club included. The guide was superb!! Top notch afternoon.

I am not sure how fascinating it is that Paul McCartney took the bus to school everyday - but the tour guide pointed it out numerous times after taking us to stand by the modern Penny Lane street sign. It is not a terrible tour but the operators lack enthusiasm, which is hardly surprising with their bland content (which you... More

I loved this tour. It included everything a Beatles fan could ask for. It was a 2 hour guided tour on a coach. Our tour guide knew his Beatle stuff. Highly recommended.

Being so booked our bus was a hired one thus missing out on The Magical Mystery theme. Our guide was really good but the poor bloke had to keep searching for songs on an i pad and hence no sing alongs. It opened my eyes on the differing backgrounds of The Boys, Ringo and George must have done it fairly tough.Great sights,history... I throughly enjoyed this tour and for someone who has little knowledge of the Beatles it was great to learn how it all started and see some key locations - we didn't have cash on us and the driver could have easily turned us away however they let us pay at the end after finding a cash point; brilliant customer... My boyfriend and I went on the Beatles Magical Myster Tour whilst down in Liverpool for his birthday. After finding various different Beatles tour options we settled on this due to the number of tours running each day. Have to admit finding the ticket office at Albert Dock was a bit of a magical mystery tour in itself - when... More

Being a Beatles 'know all' I didn't think this could teach me anything. I was wrong. It was so interesting and fun and also learned a lot about Liverpool.

My friend and I took this fun and informative tour with our guide, Tony. It shows the highlights of the Beatles and includes a couple of stops. Tony was witty, full of great facts and interesting stories. Great value for money and nice way to see some of the city and the history of the Beatles.
