I've lived in Liverpool for 33 years and I have no idea why I've only just visited the Casbah Coffee Club. A brilliant tour and £15 well spent. Roag Best is excellent, he tells the story of the Casbah with excitement and makes you want to hear more and more. It's amazing to see a place that hasn't been used... More

Rogue was a hoot! The old house was drenched in Beatle history! Everything seemed to be well documented and Rogue gives a very animated tour.

As part of our Liverpool Beatles Tour we were taken to the Casbah Coffee Club. The home of original Beatles drummer Pete Best its basement was turned into a teen club where the Beatles performed. Our guide was Rory Best (brother of Pete). Rory was able to provide first-hand experiences of the fab four prior to their Cavern Club days... More

Forget the fake Cavern and the superficial Beatles Story, this is the genuine article, where it REALLY all began. This is the best 15 quids worth of entertainment you will have for a long time. Your guide Roag Best is a natural raconteur and he talks non-stop for over an hour and he had me rivetted !

Was on a business trip to Liverpool on a Tuesday in mid December. Finished work, I had a a few hours to hang about and decided to check this place out. No number on the website and I assumed it'd be open as a coffee club. But after half an hour's bus journey, I went all the way there but... More

I definitely recommend a visit by anyone who is a huge Beatles and rock and roll fan. Rory, Pete Best's (the original fourth Beatle) brother is a superb guide.

Got recommended to go here by our tour guide on the Fab Four Beatles Tour and WOW, I am so glad we came here. Roag was absolutely the funniest and most entertaining of tour guides I've ever met. He was absolutely brilliant and I don't think anyone could accuse him of boring! The way he led the way through the... More

Visited the Casbah and absolutely loved it . Felt as though the Beatles had played a gig last night and would be calling in to collect their equipment any minute. .Roag was the bouncing ball of energy who brought the stories to life and told the back story of his mums largely unacknowledged role in the early stages of the...
