What a treat it was to visit the launching pad for The Beatles. Exuberant host, Roag Best, gave us a whirlwind tour of this Beatle shrine. The history behind The Casbah is very interesting, especially the story of its owner/manager Mona Best. This was the last stop on our Fab Four Taxi tour and was a great way to finish... More

If you are a Beatle fan - go and see this place. Roag Best was our guide and while I am a fan who has been around and seen a lot, I was really blown away by this experience. Thanks to Roag for making it all come alive again.

I had the privilege of meeting Mona Best in person when I visited her West Derby home in the Autumn of 1985, whilst in Liverpool doing research for a project I was working on. She allowed me access to the Cashbah Club, and being a Beatles fan, I was simply overwhelmed by the fact that I was in a place... More

Like so many people that have gone to Liverpool for the Beatles experience we did the Magical Mystery tour finishing with a night at the Cavern Club, that took up the best part of Saturday but Sunday was about to be the icing on the cake, the grand tour of the Casbah Coffee club with our guide and host Roag... Like all the reviews say this is a must! We visited the Casbah on 6th sept on my birthday as part of the Fab Four tour. It was the perfect end to a perfect day! Roag was amazing and talked to us about the early beginnings of the club, the boys and his wonderful mum...what a woman!!! Roag is super... More

Whatever you do when you are in Liverpool, make sure you pay a visit to the Casbah Coffee Club. This was a real highlight of my Beatles tour. Setting foot inside, you can feel the atmosphere of what it must have been like in the days when musical history was being made. This place is special, very special. And being... More

We visited the Casbah at the end of the Fab Four Taxi Tour and it was amazing! After Roag opened the door and introduced himself I knew we were going into something special! The guy is the best person to do such a tour. Very interactive and doesn't give you the feeling that it all was half a century ago.... More

There are two elements to this experience. One is the place itself: it is stunning to be where an essential element of The beatles development took place. The other is host/guide Roag Best. Not only is he actually part of The Story, he is a self-contained experience which is simply not to be missed.

Took the memorabilia tour and very pleased I did. Shown around the Casbah by Roag Best who really is a showman, of all Beatle related tours I have been on never had I been so entertained and informed. I have a large collection of Beatle books including Roags yet still felt I learnt something new. As you are taken through... More
