Was on a business trip to Liverpool on a Tuesday in mid December. Finished work, I had a a few hours to hang about and decided to check this place out. No number on the website and I assumed it'd be open as a coffee club. But after half an hour's bus journey, I went all the way there but... More

I definitely recommend a visit by anyone who is a huge Beatles and rock and roll fan. Rory, Pete Best's (the original fourth Beatle) brother is a superb guide.

Got recommended to go here by our tour guide on the Fab Four Beatles Tour and WOW, I am so glad we came here. Roag was absolutely the funniest and most entertaining of tour guides I've ever met. He was absolutely brilliant and I don't think anyone could accuse him of boring! The way he led the way through the... More

Visited the Casbah and absolutely loved it . Felt as though the Beatles had played a gig last night and would be calling in to collect their equipment any minute. .Roag was the bouncing ball of energy who brought the stories to life and told the back story of his mums largely unacknowledged role in the early stages of the... If you're a Beatles fan, the hour-long tour of the Casbah is a must. Roag Best is a character in his own right, and energetically communicated what it was like in the early 60s, when rock & roll was new ... and the Casbah was one of the earliest clubs where it was played in Liverpool. Where The Beatles played... More

Fabulous, personal, full-on tour with Roag Best (Pete's half-brother). Roag was full of knowledge, enthusiasm and let us touch various artifacts. I loved the ceilings that had been painted by John, Paul and George themselves, including John's Aztec-look ceiling and, in another room, lots of glittering stars painted onto an inkly-black sky. Everything was much as it was when Mona... More

not on the main list of the Beatles found this by shear accident - don't let first impressions put you off. Roag was amazing and we had his undivided attention as we were the only visitors. Excellent if funding could keep this going.

We toured the Casbah Coffee Club November 6th, 2014 on a nasty, rainy day. Roag Best (Pete Best's 1/2 brother and son of Neil Aspinall) gave the tour and he was FANTASTIC! His intricate knowledge paired with an enthusiastic presentation made this stop one of the most memorable for this Beatles fan!

Booked the Casbah memorabilia tour with Roag Best as the guide. He was great. I was over the moon with this visit. We saw lots of Beatles items, and could handle them.Any Beatles fan must see the Casbah,as unlike the Cavern, it is as it was in 1959 when Mo opened it. Thanks again Roag , for a fab time.Mike &...
