Took the memorabilia tour and very pleased I did. Shown around the Casbah by Roag Best who really is a showman, of all Beatle related tours I have been on never had I been so entertained and informed. I have a large collection of Beatle books including Roags yet still felt I learnt something new. As you are taken through... More

Its worth a visit but dont go out of your way. Far better to head for either Philaronic or Ye Cracke.

Fascinating tour of the club in the basement of the Best family home in the suburbs of Liverpool. This is where the pre-Ringo/pre-Brian Epstein Beatles got their first break. The tour is guided by Pete's half-brother, Roag Best, son of Mo Best and Neil Aspinall. The club is full of rare Beatles memorabilia and Roag tells the inside story of... More

Friends and I visited here as part of our Fab4 Taxi tour.Roag Best was excellent in conveying the story of how the Club played a great part in launching the Beatles and other Merseybeat bands at the birth of the 60's.Well worth looking up,though £15 each for 4 of us maybe a tad much..?

No need to say more. the story is also the dark part of beatles history. I think there is also rooom for beatles memorabilia, but it was not... More

It was like the United Nations had descended on West Derby. The old guys showed us how to play rock'n'roll thanks Pete, Bill, Dad, Gizz and the Pete Best Band

What a night! If the music were´t good it was funny with a great nostalgic feeling. And some bands where amazing! Tiro Lark. Remember that name. Although the place got out of oxygen after a couple of hours, the music kept you a live, proving that music is as important as all your other needs... Roag and the Bests have... More

I took a Canadian friend but forgot that my memories of The Casbah from the late 1950s were a bit rose coloured! I'd booked a tour with Roag Best, brother of first Beatles drummer, Pete. I was receiving "dagger looks" as we arrived - it looked like the Psycho house! What a fantastic visit it turned out to be. We... More
