It was like the United Nations had descended on West Derby. The old guys showed us how to play rock'n'roll thanks Pete, Bill, Dad, Gizz and the Pete Best Band

What a night! If the music were´t good it was funny with a great nostalgic feeling. And some bands where amazing! Tiro Lark. Remember that name. Although the place got out of oxygen after a couple of hours, the music kept you a live, proving that music is as important as all your other needs... Roag and the Bests have... More

I took a Canadian friend but forgot that my memories of The Casbah from the late 1950s were a bit rose coloured! I'd booked a tour with Roag Best, brother of first Beatles drummer, Pete. I was receiving "dagger looks" as we arrived - it looked like the Psycho house! What a fantastic visit it turned out to be. We... More

As a Beatles fan it is a definite must to visit. Our guide Roag is passionate, knowledgeable and highly entertaining and apparently much nicer looking than his brother Rory. The basement club is highly evocative of those days gone by and an absolute treat with some sparkling glimpses into the Beatles early days. Low headroom in a couple of places... More

We loved the Casbah Coffee Club! It really is a little gem. It was only 2 of us on the tour and it was amazing seeing the paintings the beatles did and learning the history. Any true beatle fan will really love this place; It is on the pricey side but well worth it. Make sure you make this a... More

Very entertaining guide, Ro, giving first hand info on the start up of the Beatles. We'll worth it with a passionate guide with inside info.

In a way - it all started in this small basement. If you love Beatles, this is a must. We met Pete Bests younger brother, and he was a good storyteller. Possible to improve, but very authentic. And mind your head if you are more than 6 foot.

Amazing place, Rory Best took us on a trip more than 50 year back, guided by one who was there, great storyteller.

Rory Best gave an excellent tour and offered some insights to the early Beatles formative days. He may have an ax to grind considering how history left the Bests behind.
