The Casbah Coffee Club was included as part of The Fab Four Taxi Tour which a friend and I did together. It was without doubt the highlight of our Beatles Tour. Roag Best - ex Beatles drummer Pete Best's brother - conducted the tour himself, and it was fantastic. I don't want to go on & on, but Roag was... More

If you love the Beatles and their history, go to the Casbah Club. It was amazing. Unlike the Cavern Club, it is still the original place, unchanged, although it no longer functions as a club. It was run by Pete Best's mother, Mona in the basement of her tremendous house. The Beatles were the first band to play there and... More

This one almost doesn't need a review because it's such a bloomin' miracle that it has been preserved all these years, and that your guide most likely will be one of Pete's brothers! In our case, Rory Best hosted most graciously. To see this over 50 years on, with anecdotes from one who LIVED it, is a thrill and a... More

Visited The Casbah last week, with my partner (avid Beatles fan) and his Australian friend (also a mad Beatles fan) and his wife. We had managed to keep it a secret from our Aussie visitors and the penny didn't drop until the sign was spotted, on the front of the house. Needless to say, they were thrilled to bits! My... More

My Son and I have just returned from a 2 day trip to Liverpool and the Casbah Club was recommended to us by our Beatles Tour Guide, who took us there personally. It far surpassed any expectations we had. We were met by Roag who was absolutely fantastic! He told us about The Beatles early origins in the days of... More

This is a must for real Beatles fans, one of the first venues they ever played in the early incarnations of the band. The Casbah is just as it was in the very early sixties and is accompanied by a tour guide who will tell you everything about the history of the venue. Our guide was Pete Best's son Roag,... More

Like the Cavern, this is a must for Beatles fans. It's pretty much exactly same as it would have been all those years ago. It's just a place that is an essential visit if you're interested in the Beatles, the other Mersey groups or the cities histroy in general.

The Casbah is pretty much exactly the same way it would have been all those years ago when you could have gone in to listen to The Beatles when they were still known as the Quarrymen. A great feeling walking in. The tour is run by either one of Pete Best's brothers. Rory Best has a great memory of the... More

We booked a tour by email and went on a Sunday morning. Roag was on holiday so we were shown around by the delightful Rory Best - Pete's younger brother. It is so authentic, nothing has changed since the early days of the Beatles. John's name carved on the ceiling, ceilings painted by the Beatles, and such an interesting story... More

We went but it was closed so couldmt. Go inside we did have a good nosey through the windows but you couldn't really see much, would love to do the proper tour but didn't know there was one, never mind hopefully one day.
