Roag Best is this tour and he makes it miles better than any of the other Beatles-related venues and tours in Liverpool. The club itself is a lively interior and Roag gives you the freedom to vent your inner Beatle by posing against all the original interior decor. Is it God's truth? Who knows - who cares? Soak it up... More

Excellent tour here on may 11th. we were the only two on the 2 pm tour. We were shown around by Pete Best's brother Roage and he is a brilliant tour guide. We learnt all about how his mum had started the coffee bar and saw john Lennons carvings into the wall and the ceilings they had painted. You can... More

The casbah coffee club in Liverpool is a really little jewel for the fans of the Fab Four. It is possible to admire autographs and paint works wrote and painted by John and Paul. You may also admire the rooms in the cellars were the early Beatles performed. At last a really "must" for Beatles fans.

We highly recommend this tour of this venue which is absolutely critical to the story of the Beatles. You'll discover so much more about them, but also about the emerging Mersey-beat scene in the late 1950s and early 60s, the huge number of budding groups, and the cast of colourful characters. Not least of these is the inimitable Mona Best,... More

It was a surreal experience--right from where the Casbah is located to how it came about to be to the venue which was instrumental to launching The Beatles on their road to success. It was amazing to be where music history was created. The stories were almost unbelievable but were truly magnificent.

Visited the Casbah as part of the Fab 4 Taxi Tour. If I'm honest I thought I had over-estimated the attention span of my 18 year old son as we pulled up outside on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Neither of us are hard-core Beatles fans. We were really visiting to watch a game at Anfield. Rory Best took my son... More

Having done the National Heritage tour of Lennon and McCartney's homes, I didn't think anything could top that. I was wrong, touring the Casbah Club with Pete Best's brother Rory has been the highlight of my Liverpool trip. And because two people didn't show up, I got a personal tour with Rory who worked the club in the Quarrymen/Beatles day.... More
