A brilliantly informative couple of hours spent with the wonderful Roag. He is a fabulous English eccentric - my perfect person. And I so wish I could have met his mum. Mo sounds like she was a lady who was just like me.....didn't take "no" for an answer :) For anyone who is in anyway a Beatles fan, the Casbah... More

Roage was our tour guide and he was brilliant. He involved us all in his talk, and checked we were listening with a little bit of role play which kept us all entertained. Check this place out, it is where it all began, as you will find out for yourselves admiring the decorating and John and Pauls choice of colours... More

This is a fantastic experience for any music lover! Roag really tells the story of the Casbah Coffee club with such great passion and personality, his stories really do come to life as you move on through the Club. The Casbah Coffee club is a hidden treasure and the tour really was fantastic, worth every penny. I will cannot speak... More

Any Beatles fan needs to visits this place. We did this tour as part of the Fab Four taxi tour which was also second to none! Could not believe how raw and untouched everything was, or how much freedom to roam around there is. Rogue was excellent in the delivery of his stories! The place is amazing and deserves recognition... More

Really can't do this place justice! Absolutely coated in history of the band and offers a unique look at the early years of the band forming. The information is delivered by quite possibly one of the best tour guides I've encountered who uses his close family connections to deliver unusual and interesting facts. 5/5 and is a must for any... The tour was fascinating and very atmospheric. Roag told the story of the Casbah Coffee Club in a very personable way. He is obviously very proud of his family's connections with it. Thanks very much.

I loved this tour. It really gives you an in to see what it was like in the 50s and 60s, not to mention it gives a real idea of the origin of the Beatles. This is where it all began for them and it is neat being able to see it with your own eyes. Roag is an awesome... More

While I have been to a number of Beatles related sights in Liverpool, Hamburg, and New York City, this tour of the Casbah Coffee Club has to be by far the best Beatles related experience you could treat yourself to. Our tour lasted over an hour and we had plenty of time to wander around and take photographs once Roag... More

A very atmospheric place. 8 Haymans Green West Derby is a very substantial house with a cellar which was converted in the late 50's to a coffee bar by the owner Mona Best. First band to play there were John, Paul, George and .....Ken, aka The Beatles!! The rooms were decorated by the fab 3 in a homespun diy style,... More

I travelled to Liverpool in January to celebrate my birthday by "doing" the Beatles, amongst other things, and though the Casbah website says tours are only given for a minimum of 15 people, I emailed and was booked in, only to find Roag very kindly gave me my very own personal tour. He was a mine of information, and infectiously... More
