I loved the Beatles Story I thought it was fantastic. I particulary liked the new site at the Pier Head and the Fab4D experience!!!!! Everyone was really friendly and it had a great atmosphere. Most definately a must see! My children really enjoyed it too, at the Albert Dock they have a Discovery Zone which is really good for the... more

Arrived at The Beatles Story shortly before 11am to find a small(ish) queue of around 20 people lining the stairs. We were informed that there was around a 10 minute wait to gain entrance so we decided to wait. Shortly afterwards a coach party of around 40 people were whizzed past the queue and allowed in. We waited for another... more

Nothing new was presented for fans who know more than just the music. I had been hoping for some photos I'd never seen before or perhaps other insight, but I wasn't impressed, to say the least. I'm glad that I only had to pay the student price because otherwise it definitely wouldn't have been worth it. Additionally, I thought they... more

My wife and really enjoyed the Beatles story. We also loved the Albert docks, full of life and energy. There are some fascinating exhibits throughout the Beatles story which are complimented very well with the audio tour (i would recommend using the audio headsets). The only thing lacking was the music, there are snippets but I would have liked to... more

I was disappointed with the Beatles Story because of it lack of attention to detail. The most glaring thing was John's Rickenbacker guitars. The real ones are in Japan, but the 2 displays at the Beatles Story in the Cavern Club and EMI studio exhibit show black and white Rickenbackers that are nothing like John's original guitar. After this, most... more

The Beatles Story was fantastic! It was interactive and I wish I had a bit more time there! Loved the yellow submarine...the stage where the drum set was...and basically it was a walk back through time! A definite must see if you're in Liverpool! more

I was quite embarrassed going here after my Liverpudlian relatives warned me not to. They said it was just a rip-off tourist place. They were right. But I just had to go because I love the Beatles and I was in Liverpool. I hated everything about this tacky set up except for the gift shop at the end whichi I... more

The complete tour of this exhibition will take about 1 hour. We had the audio guide in French and I was disappointed to hear that it was an English speaking person speaking French who recorded the tour, it would have been better to take a native speaker. Of course the person speaks an excellent French but the tone and the... more

The detailed audio tour, narrated by John Lennon's sister with lots of bits by others takes you through a series of rooms recreating vital bits of the Beatles story. We particularly liked walking down Matthew Street and into the Cavern Club while the audio tour had a club regular describing the atmosphere - and the smell! After walking through the... more

I'm writing this as someone who knew the Beatles story prior to arriving in Liverpool on a day trip. Not knowing anything about the various attractions begging to Beatles fans, I bought a ticket to The Beatles Story. What I got was a 60 minute audio guide to a photo album posted on walls through a maze of galleries. It... more
