This was a favorite hang-out for the Beatles and many other rock bands, which also served as a safe haven from their screaming teenage fans.

This is where The Beatles enjoyed a pint during breaks from The Cavern but besides that it's a great old pub that takes you back in time. Order a nice pint of Cains any time of day. Love it and often call in when I'm in town.

What can you say about the grapes - great history, atmospheric, great staff and a fab karaoke. No matter what time of day or night you go its always very busy and its on the small size so you can feel a bit squashed. The toilets are rubbish 2 for women and again so small. You won't get posh cocktails... More

Visited the pub during the day one weekend. A good atmosphere somewhat spoiled by the barman's rude manner telling people coming into the bar with children "KIDS NOT ALLOWED" in a loud rude manner, seen this 3 times in less than an hour. OK kids may not be allowed but cut for the rude and loud behaviour Mr. Barman. Maybe... More

It's the pub the Beatles drank in, obviously Beatles memorabilia on the walls. Still just a normal old style pub.
