This was a favorite hang-out for the Beatles and many other rock bands, which also served as a safe haven from their screaming teenage fans.

Currently sat in this "famous' pub with friends some if whom were served drinks...some had to almost force themselves upon the miserable bar man and myself and another friend gave up after 10 minutes it is mid afternoon, not busy and obviously this place must be making so much profit that it doesn't matter if people don't buy drinks. Perhaps... More

This is another bar we call in to hear and see the singers. Beer is okay it does have a general sticky feel to the place. But if you are looking for a different type of afternoon this is your place to be. Visitors are always welcome.

Add this ancient, run down, ill maintained boozer to the list of places getting by on it's "The Beatles Were Here" story, with no concern shown for maintenance, upkeep, or customer experience. A few warmish beers, beaten and dirty furnishings, and toilets that no self-respecting rat would be seen in.

Just down the road from the Cavern, is the pub where the Beatles used to have a pint or two, before or after their shows. We got to sit in the same seats they did, and got photos to prove it!!! Quite a special experience for Beatles fanatics. Access is a bit difficult for the disabled, but it was well... More

As other reviewers have stated, this is one of the places the Beatles drank in their Liverpool years. The entire pub is decorated in Beatles memorabilia. A good selection of cask ales, at typical city centre prices. Can be crowded even during the day as it seems to draw a mix of both locals and tourists. I'll certainly stop in... More
