The round trip ferry trip was well worth the money. If you stay on the ferry for a full circuit it takes about 50 minutes. The on board commentary was really good and informative however I would have like to hear the full rendition of Ferry Cross the Mersey song rather than just the snippet that was played. You could... We all went on the ferry for our sons 3rd birthday and it was absolutely fabulous! We stopped off at the Seacombe cafe and had food. The kids had chicken nuggets with chips and a cheeseburger meal deal, which all came with vanilla ice cream and a fruit shoot! We had an Uber Burger - and are still full 9... More

At £10 per adult it's worth the money. We decided not to get of on the other side as we were short on time. The trip was 50 minutes and with information about the Liverpool docks and it's water front it was very informative. Would recommend this to anyone.

No staff on hand for any help.A very sloping ramp to walk down to board the boat. Not easy when you are pushing somebody in a wheelchair.Sat inside as it was too windy outside and the glass windows are very odd.You cannot see the sights out of them. A waste of time and money.Had to tackle the steep slope going back... More

Thank you for providing feedback. We are sorry that you had difficulty boarding the ferry due to the slope of the bridge connecting with the landing stage. The Mersey Ferries are full accessible and staff are available to assist customers particularly when the tide is out and the bridge is steep. If you can provide more details of the circumstances... Loved this trip, we sat outside even though it was cold but wanted to be able to see everything. The commentary was really good and informative. Renditions of Ferry over the Mersey , great !

This was the second half of our combined City Explorer / Ferry Ticket. We went for the first ferry at 10am from Pier Head and weren't disappointed. The booking staff very helpful and friendly. Chairs on the ferry had good views and the commentary was excellent with the odd Ferry cross the Mersey being blasted out to get you in... More

The explorer ticket lets you hop on and off the ferry at any of the 3 ports which is useful. We also manage to use the highly painted ferry which was interesting. The documentary about the river was also good. Fine if want something extra but not if you merely want to cross over and back as a return ticket... More

It's not expensive as far as trips go, but basically it's a 50 minute round trip on a passenger ferry. There is a bit of commentary but it's not what I would call a visitor attraction. The one bonus we did not use is free admission to the submarine museum.

Having last travelled on the ferry when it was operating as a working ferry I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Some great views of Liverpool from the water.
