You must go on the Mersey Ferry if you go to Liverpool. I was lucky the weather was gorgeous. My only regret is that I didn't have time to get off on the other side. Be aware that you can get a combination ticket for the ferry and Beatles experiences. I didn't know so paid full for all individually.

My first trip on the mersey ferry since about 1958 Now a tourist attraction as well as a way of crossing the river, a regular service operates, but check time as it may be seasonal Hot and cold drinks available on board and suitable for wheelchairs You may get off and explore, ticket includes entrance to the submarine museum

Really enjoyable trip. The views were beautiful and the ferry ride was lovely. There was a nice area to get refreshments on board which was very handy.

Good length of the cruise with local history providing good background to the city. Amazing views. No formal queues so big rush to get seats. Option to her out and see Uboat museum and get back on the ferry later on. Paid £24 for family of 4. Would recommend

Took the ferry from Woodside over to Liverpool and returned - was a really lovely experience - commentary on board very informative The lady on ticket sales advised us to return by 3pm ferry to take advantage of the submarine exhibition which was included in our ticket price - so glad she did as it was brilliant

A pleasant cruise along the Mersey with commentary on the history of the area. Interesting and free entry to the U Boat story. Well worth it for a trip on one of the worlds most famous ferries and seeing the Liverpool skyline.
