We went across the Mersey on the Ferry and it was a lovely touch that as you set off they play a few lines of the song. Where you get off there is a free museum to see a german U-boat which was amazing to see.

Make sure the weather is good as it really is a lovely cruise take. We just stayed on and went all the way round which took about one hour, but you could get off at any of the 3 stops that it makes and look around the area before getting the next ferry back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent cruise on the Mersey ferry. The booking staff were exceptionally helpful (it seems to be a Liverpool trait). The commentary was very interesting, and provided that the weather is good I would recommend this to others.

Had too do the ferry across the Mersey , whilst visiting the city , and as we struggle with mobility we thought nice way too see the city whilst sat down. The price is so over the top £10 adults concessions £8.50 but £5 would be more acceptable. The ferry has 2 stops enroute, Woodside and sea croft ? One... More

We were on the first ferry of the day, it wasn't crowded, the commentary was interesting and the pricing in line with other trips. The ticket included hop on hop off at Seacombe and Woodside, with the U Boat story included. Watching later ferries which were very busy and the affect of the tide on the piers we were glad... More

Visited 14.04.2015 I come from Liverpool but have not lived there since 1974, and rarely made return visits, so when I needed to entertain my business guests from Norway I thought I would take them on a tour of Liverpool and the Wirral. I drove from Manchester Airport to New Brighton via the M56/M53, my guests really enjoyed what they... More

As a youngster I used to go with my friends on the ferry for a day out in New Brighton and the tickets were cheap as chips. Returning to Liverpool after many years away we had to take the ferry across the Mersey once again. We were on the Snowdrop in her new dazzle colours. But... This is now a... More

We were herded into pens and suddenly everyone pushing as the throng were dazzled by the new paint job. The most interesting part of the commentary seemed to be the safety announcements which I heard 3 times. The catering was worth avoiding and I suggest take your own. Compared to other boat trips eg along the Thames from Greenwich the... More

We were fortunate enough to board the Razzle Dazzle for our Mersey trip. Having read about it only the week before, we were chuffed to easily find a seat and enjoy the commentary for our hour's 'Ferry cross the Mersey' - the iconic song playing in the background - note these words don't say 'across' which dates back a lot...
