This is a wonderful place to visit just next to the Cathedral. The audio tour is well worth it and really brings the place to life.

After visiting the Cathedral we wandered down to the Bishops' Palace ,which was free for us , being English Heritage members. After the wonderful Cathedral I suppose we were expecting a bit more from the Palace. The site is mainly ruins to walk round but the free audio guide is a great help and the modern take on the garden... More

Would not go out of my way to visit but if you have been to the cathederal and castle several times in the past it makes a change. You have to use you imagination because it has been out of use since the civll war. It is administered by English Heritage who could perhaps do more with it. You have... More

Sometimes the audio guides with English Heritage can be very querky. This is spot on and is a must to enable an understanding of these buildings. The member of staff was very friendly and eager to help. I was impressed with the garden which has had some imaginative modern touches. Very Good.

I've been round here a couple of times. I enjoyed it- so much history to the place- it helps you to tie together the history of Lincoln if you have also visited the Castle and the Cathedral. Has some nice spots to sit and contemplate life, history and everything.
