Never visited a gallery before so it was an interesting experience. The artwork in so many forms, paintings, marbles, jewellery, porcelain/ceramics, clocks and watches and the modern of course. Not a long visit unless you are heavily into looking at everything in close detail. Two floors but not chock full of exhibits, so airy and contemporary and an easy walk... More

The museum and the Usher Gallery have both been transformed in recent years. A very pleasant way to kill an hour or two and the Stokes cafe at the collection is very good.

We went today had a brilliant time and the kids really enjoyed hunting the dino eggs . Very interesting visit if you haven't been its a must

Well designed museum pitched at just the right level (assumes you have some historical knowledge/reference points but not too academic). Excellent café.

Good interactive displays in a modern setting . Interesting archaeology and history. There were a variety of types of display making it suitable for all ages. Free to visit. In the centre of Lincoln not far from the cathedral.

The whole of the planet's history under one roof. Interesting relics on display. Well done Lincoln. Well attended and lots of hands on opportunities.

We have visited the Usher Gallery before but this was the first time we went to the Collection and Usher Gallery. We had a brilliant time, some very interesting local history.
