just popped in to ask about the castle opening times, very helpful and friendly, also very informative about the place in general, which I know they should be but it doesn't happen everywhere, and we just thought they deserved a mention for the service.

The main thing is, the staff there were polite, helpful and, most of all, knowledgeable and able to supply the information I required.Bonuses were a well stocked shop in a charming period building that fits in well with the beautiful old city of Lincoln.

It is worth visiting the information centre near the cathedral as the building is so beautiful. The staff are always helpful with plenty of advice and maps to help you around this lovely city. There is a little bus that goes from here to the high street below which is worth taking if you don't want to walk down the... More

This was informative but probably could do alot more to promote the city. Not overly impressed at the time of my visit. Perhaps caught it on a bad day.

I always try to visit the local TI. when I go somewhere new. This one is housed in the most lovely old building of them all. We followed the suggestion given to do the Guildhall guided tour (free) and it was excellent. We we given our advice by friendly, helpful staff. Well done Lincoln Tourist Info centre!

The tourist centre is at the top of Steep Hill in between the Cathedral and the Castle. It is in a lovely old building which is a tourist attraction itself. There are plenty of leaflets and helpful staff as well as lots of gifts to buy. Worth a visit, although it doesn't open until 10am.
