Went on the Ghost Tour with my 15 year old daughter to celebrate her birthday along with 2 of her friends and my younger daughter who is aged 13 years. It was a chilly evening - dressing for the weather is advised as are sensible shoes for the 90 min tour over uneven ground. I was surprised by the size... More

We did this on 1st February as a family of 4 kids age 10 and 9. It was a cold and windy night, expecting there to be hardly anyone there we were astonished by around 40 people of mixed ages. The guy gave my little one the ghost machine which kept his interest however our guide was full of information,... More

This was a highly entertaining romp through the supernatural history of Lincoln's ancient streets. Our guide was very knowledgeable with regards to the history and conveyed his point in a manner that was fun for old and young alike. There was never a dry or dull moment in his telling of the tales that haunt each nook and cranny of... More

This is highly recommended. It lasted just over an hour and was £4 well spent. Fascinating history of cathedral area. The guide was very informative. She was very good with children too and kept us all entertained. I will be going back for the alternative route, which is arranged for Thursday evenings. Please wear good footwear during the winter months... More

An amazing evening, 16 Of us in a private party £ 4 each and the best hour of stories ever with a most believable collection of tales from locals, backed up by historical truths and facts! I'd do it again in a heartbeat... but I love a good yarn. The lady who took us was an polite and patient, and... More

Nicely timed tour to get the family in the mood for Halloween, being a few days away. From the oldest of our group aged 71 to the youngest of 9 we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The stories were varied and interesting and took us to some places I have never been - and I have lived here all my life.... More

This was a fascinating look back at the history of Lincoln, and its many ghosts! It was great fun, and a good way to see the sites. Not scary on a lovely summers evening - not sure I'd say the same on a dark cold winters night!

Margaret Greens' walking tour was EXCELLENT!! She's a brilliant story teller and a real people person... You can tell she loves what she does and enjoys sharing her enthusiasm. She brought Lincoln's history to life in a fascinating way and kept a sense of humour with it too! You;d be hard pushed to spend £4 more interestingly!! PS If someone... More

Was quite an interesting potted history of the ghosts of Lincoln. Would probably have been better if it where done in the dark, but it passed an hour an gave us an appetite for our evening meal!

Firstly, do this at night. It will be far more impressive with the backdrop of a lit up medieval cathedral. Secondly, uphill Lincoln gets very windy, wrap up warm. I first went on this ghost walk as a foreigner visiting my boyfriend's hometown and was very impressed. I now live in Lincoln and remember all the stories as I walk... More
