Went to Doddington hall today with the boyfriend as he's studying fine art and would like to work with stone. It was amazing to see all the diffrent designs, sculpture and materials! Gave him some really good ideas! Must admit my hands started to hurt after he made me take a picture of everything! :)

We came out for Sunday lunch. The food was very nice and it was a pleasure to look round the farm shop and purchase some locak produce.

My first visit to Doddington Hall and gardens was a wonderful experience. Although the Hall was closed that day (worth ringing ahead) the stunning gardens, nature walk and sculptures were incredible, inspiring and so enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially in the cafe. My disabled friend had no problems getting around in his wheelchair which was a great bonus.... More

Had a cream tea in the cafe which was delicious. Staff were very well organised. The Farm shop was very good with lots of different things to tempt you. The gardens were a delight to visit with all the sculptures dotted throughout. An amazing place to see.

Spent an amazing four hours in the gardens this afternoon. Don't miss it!! Our first time of visiting and want to go back again when the house is open. Absolutely loved the sculptures - apparently about 400 - kept finding them around every corner. Set out brilliantly. Would have loved more time to explore. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

We had the house almost to ourselves on a pouring wet Sunday - except for a large number of very friendly and helpful stewards who showed a real affection for the house. The building and contents are magnificent and the gardens would be well worth a visit at any time, but are especially interesting at the moment because ot the... More

Our visit was to view the Sculptures on exhibition in the gardens, grounds and inside. We were informed that Saturdays had some areas restricted to visitors because weddings were held there but it was not a problem and easily worked round. The entry price was fair and because we had good weather we were able to take advantage of the... More

We belong to a local U3A group and decided to use the Sculpture Exhibition as our monthly stroll. It was excellent. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed a pleasant lunch. The exhibition was beautifully laid out with a mixture of excellent pieces. We thoroughly enjoyed our outing.
