Liked food. Disliked price. Busy cafe and shop. Little overpriced for what you get. Nice walks in country and round the garden

We booked in for a family of 8, Service and food was great. Was let down by shared plates and not individual servings. Plates were cold which didn't help. Not the best dining experience we have had here but never less was still a good evening. The wine was very nice, shame it can't be bought in the farm shop.... More

Thank you so much for reviewing our 'Saturday Night 7' menu. We are so sorry that you didn't realise that this is a sharing menu, it does say so on our website and our staff are told to explain this to anyone booking. We also offer an a la carte menu on Saturday nights featuring many of the same dishes... More

We went to visit the gardens whilst holidaying in the area, the gardens were only open at this time and unfortunately not dog friendly. There were more natural with a woodland type feel to much of it and at this time of year totally carpeted in snow drops and crocus's which was lovely. I imagine in the summer the walled... More

Thank you so much for your kind words about the gardens, shop, walks and cafe at Doddington. The Spring flowers are something that we are justly proud of and our pricing is comparable with all the other spring flower gardens in the region like Easton Walled Garden, £6.95 and so on. Additionally, we always run a wide variety of 2... More

Excellent local produce and deli shopping. Speciality shops and garden centre. Fine historic local estate and home. Well worth a visit when visiting the area.

First visit as we are new to the area. Shop impressive and great variety at an average price. The cafe is overpriced for the quality, staff not the friendliest.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are all sad that you found our staff to be 'not the friendliest' as we work so hard to be welcoming, fun, smiley and helpful, in fact we have just won a National Award for the best On Farm Cafe & Restaurant and one of the major criteria was... It is not often I write to express my gratitude about an event but after our experience at Doddington Hall on Saturday for the Tenors Unlimited evening with dinner , I believe it is warranted. I have to say that the evening was out of this world. The whole event from the venue, the quality of the food, the organisation... More
