Good place for a day out and visited as part of group from our Gardening Club. Sunday lunch was delicious but glad we thought to book a table when planning our visit. Cafe well organised but very busy. Spring gardens were a joy with some wild areas as well as boarders. Walled garden will be great later on in the... More

This historic building is only open two days a week but the gardens, farm shop and restaurant are open most days. The gardens are lovely and it's a pleasure to wander around them. Watch out for the farm shop there, it has so many great things it must be impossible to leave empty handed. A wide selection of high quality fresh... More

Had an excellent tour of the house which was most interesting with lots of guides to point out details. Our leader had arranged for 2 gardeners to take us round the vegetable and ornamental gardens which was fascinating. Enjoyed the catering and shopping in the well-stocked farm shop. First visit for most of us (group of 28) and would highly... More

We are becoming regular visitors to Doddington on our way to / from our son's house, often stopping for lunch, or even just a snack. The food has always been very good and the service friendly (if a little slow at times). On our last visit we decided to try it for dinner and went along with some family on... More

As regular visitors to Doddington, we love coming and will continue to visit and recommend to those seeking high quality lunch with local produce with one of the friendliest atmospheres around. To make the experience complete, some finessing would turn the four stars into five stars. For example porcelain pots for the condiments would be preferred as well as a... More

I visited Doddington Hall in the run up to Christmas 2014. They had decorated all of the main rooms with different, Victorian, Christmas themes that were well executed. Included within the various rooms was a hunt type game for children to find various items in each room which was a nice idea. The gardens to the house are immaculately maintained,... More

We have been visiting Doddington Hall for quite a few years now and always look forward to our visits. We went on Good Friday for fish & chips in the restaurant which we have had before and again thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely atmosphere and worth booking a table in the restaurant as it does get very busy at times. There... More

We stayed for two nights as an adult family of 8 get together. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast in the cafe. I must say everything exceeded expectation. The cottage is large ,comfortable, well equipped, clean, lovely rustic decor, and peacefully stands aside from the main hall, also the little food hamper was a well... More
