Came here a couple of weekends ago to see 'Avenue Q' at 19.30 slot! Brilliant show, shame the theatre wasn't filled. The place hadn't changed since I last came over 10 years ago. Immaculate and clean, very friendly and helpful staff and well signed for the toilets and bar.

Went to the grand to see the legend that is Lee Evans. Amazing show put on in an amazing venue, very intimate and lovely. The show was the funniest thing me and my partner have ever seen, from start to finish our sides were killing with laughter. So well done the Grand keep bringing shows like this and the future... I love going to this theatre, it is a proper old theatre, lovely architecture. The staff that were on duty (Avenue Q Sat 5 July 2014 14.00) were curteous and helpful.

Fantastic show at this great old venue. The location is great for all amenities and the pre-booked cheap parking across the road was very welcome. Staff were polite and helpful where needed, shame the seats were a little uncomfortable but it is to be expected. The show itself was brilliant & hilarious, all the cast were spot on. Would watch... A great show that was presented in a beautiful building with a great atmosphere. We have seen avenue Q in the westend and guildford but this was by far the best company. A real fun show!

Just returned from fun night at the theatre. Avenue Q at the Grand was superb, funny, clever and enjoyable. Show unsuitable for under 14s (as advised in promotional advertising) Grand is easy venue with good atmosphere and surroundings. If you get chance to see this show I would highly recommend it.

The grand theatre was great. The show was lovely and quite funny. It is very old but it adds to the charm of the place. Great day and and reasonably priced too.

Smallish but with all the gold decoration and painted panels we expect at Theatre, It had stalls balcony and and "the Gods" It was lined with photos of people from the past who had performed there; a trip into theatre history. Sound and lighting excellent. We saw "The Vicar of Dibley"
