We popped in here for a coffee after a walk down the promenade. We enjoyed a lovely pot of tea and the biggest fruit scone you have seen in your life! Two pots of tea and a scone cost less than 2 cups of coffee at Starbucks would cost! The view in to the gardens was pleasant and there was... More

This building has been transformed into a beautiful new modern place to visit. Especially on every other Tuesday evening when the wonderful women and men hold a healing session of reiki. Will be back in the new year. Thank you for all your healing.

Such a missed opportunity but badly run with poor service and awful coffee. This place could be something very special but sadly whoever runs the cafe hasn't got a clue. Never again!

Living nearby, for once we went for a little walk and called in the Solaris for a well deserved Coffee. This art deco building is magnificent from the outside, inside well not so clever. Whilst used as a conference and meeting facility the coffee lounge should be busy on a warm sunny autumn afternoon. One can see why it was... More

We live nearby and visit the area fairly regularly as it has a good area for our dog. The drinks and food in the cafe are good but expensive. The staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. The main issue is the gardens. They are in a disgraceful state. They are not maintained at all. The weeds are nearly as... More

My toddler loves visiting the cafe here as it has a toy kitchen and trolley etc. so very child friendly. Nice relaxing environment which is well maintained, nice grass area surrounding it, my toddler loves the planet statues in the grounds. Looks like a nice venue for a course etc. they also have a display about the environment which is... More

Nice entrance but the rest is like an office centre. Used for meetings seminars etc sponsored by the council. Display of "green" and how it is advanced. Reception desk and cafe area. Cafe as good as some in Blackpool and better that the worst. Good place to get out of the wind at South Shore.
