Already a big fan of the Sea Life Centres we needed to escape from the stormy wind that hindered our visit to the Blackpool Illuminations in October. And what a great escape it was! We were able to push our young daughter around the whole centre which is very pushchair friendly. Lots of exhibits and very well laid out. The... More

We visited this centre on Thursday 17/7/2014, we previously last visited 2006, it looks like no money has been spent since that date. Its a good job the lights are dimmed because if you had a good look in daylight you would be shocked at the poor repair of this Sealife centre. You may ask why I as looking around,... More

We bought 2 discounted tickets £10 each but we were very dissapointed with what we saw and our view is that this attraction is okay for children but not worth the addmission charge and we would not reccomend it.

A great way of spending a couple of hours. The are loads of different displays with of loads of different sea creatures. The giant Japanese spider crab has to be seen to be believed! We all really enjoyed ourselves.

Went on the wrong day perhaps, too many school kids at the attraction on the day of our visit ,also there seemed to be little or no organisation to tell visitors which way round to start your experience which meant you ended up seeing the same fish 2 or 3 times and missing others

Unless your a hyperactive, inconsiderate child (+ equally bad parent) or an adult pushing an empty buggy blocking your way, then just don't bother going. There are no members of staff at all on the walk around, people pushing and shoving their way to see the tiny tanks of common sea dwelling creatures, and children constantly stamping or your feet... The displays are well presented and themed. We also took the behind the scenes tour, which was a nice addition. Well worth seeking out a discount voucher, which seemed to be around in abundance at the time (Ours was from Tesco)

We enjoyed this experience! There was some amazing sea creatures to see. The kids loved every minute of it. The downside is the price - it is expensive and a little hard to navigate your way around.

Sea Life was a lot of fun and is very good should you bring young kids along. You can learn a lot and there are fun options for kids! There is also the option to go in with the sharks should you want to. However, it is quite expensive and I'm not sure I would want to visit it the... More
