Stayed the one night in a hotel a street away, perfect location for a string of gay pubs! Loved this one we started off with a few drinks and played on the pool table, met some lovely people who stayed with us all night! They took us next door to chaos but we found ourselves wondering back to the flying... More

We (me and my wife) have visited this bar several times in the company of the lyndhurst gang & always had a great time either dancing or being entertained, mostly by the amazingly funny d j Carmen (stage name) he (she) plays great music & sometimes asks for requests of your fave music, if you do, prepare for sarky comments,... Visited here a few times when in Blackpool and always have a good time! Excellent DJ and staff, full of interesting and friendly people. Very safe and guaranteed a laugh. Great price on drinks too.

This is my 3rd vist here I come only once a year in blackpool. I came here on sunday not very busy. The drinks were very cheap like 2.50 a pint. Good sofa to sit down and I like the q-queen playing the music and jokeing talking. Would I come back? Yes 100%

I visit the flying handbag often when I'm in blackpool. It's a great night out, there is a really good atmosphere and he service is good. The entertainment has always been good. I highly recommend it.

When a venue provides entertainment, in this case with a drag DJ/host, Carmen, it needs to be like this bar. Carmen is able to 'work the room' perfectly, from a friendly 'hello' 'where are you from?' to the perfectly timed 'put downs' to the many hecklers. However, there's no malice here, it's non-offensive and clearly aimed to get the best... More
