Called in for a pint on Bank Holiday weekend and the place looked like it was in need of a full redecoration. The seating was soaked in what I hope was only beer and there was no friendly Northern hospitality to be found in here. The ladies working the bar looked tired and ready to hang their aprons up for... More

This is an attitude free pub, where the locals treat holidaymakers friendly, you pay a little bit more than normally, but hey these guys have to survive in the winter, ignore the other comments about the Bulmer's. Great time had go and sample The Mitre nice little gem shines like the illumination.

We went in to the Mitre last Saturday 22nd August and had 2 rounds of drinks. We had 2 Bulmers fruit ciders in each round, and each round was over £8, I don't really class that as being reasonable. over a £1 a round dearer than on the South Pier. Not very impressed.

i was in this pub with three friends, we had drinks (very resonable) the staff were very friendly and the other customers too. the size of the place adds to its quaintness and it is very clean and tidy - definitely one to visit

The best wee pub in Blackpool, friendly staff and when you go to it, you feel as if you have walked into your local pub. Great selection of drinks, also a nice area outside for the good days. Everytime i go to Blackpool, i go back here as it is frindly, safe and great

After an extremely unpleasant day due to the staff at other places in Blackpool, the Mitre was perfect! We called in on Tuesday night for a few drinks. The lad behind the bar was extremely pleasant + the only member of staff in Blackpool (apart from our hotel) that wasn't rude to us! A couple of the locals made me... More

We come to Blackpool twice a year for the Northern Soul Weekends and this place is always on the list! Love it! Great Bar, fantastic atmosphere, lovely staff and the best Dj who puts the Soul back in Northern. 10 out of 10!

we always make a point of dropping in here for drink when in blackpool. an old fashioned cosy pub with a good atmostphere, staff are pleasant and friendly although prices have risen over the past cpl of years and there was a damp smell still well worth a visit
