Have visited the zoo many times now and we love it! Great selection of animals to see and lovely park land to walk round. Also a lovely dinosaur safari to explore which is cool! Nice cafe by the lakeside with good value meals. All in all a good day out in a beautiful attractive park!

It's not cheap at 51.50 for a family of 4 but it's well laid out and there is plenty to see and do. Not too much walking as the areas are close together. The cafe isn't up to much as our food, such as it was, was lukewarm and unappealing. Would have given it an excellent score it it wasn't... More

We visited Blackpool Zoo with our 9 and 1/2 month old daughter. I am not a great fan of zoos as I always feel too sorry for the animals but decided to give it a go after reading reviews. We arrived at 11am and were swiftly through and straight into the zoo area. I booked our tickets online as this... More

never had to pay parking before at any zoo and at Blackpool zoo you do. The tickets are over priced as the zoo was run down and there was limited animals on site. The children also found it boring as most of the animals looked depressed and stayed in there sheds. Compared to other places this place is a rip... More

Whilst the ticket prices may seem steep, there's more than enough to see and do at Blackpool Zoo. Everytime we thought our visit would be drawing to a close, there was something else to see. Our personal favourites were the giraffes and the elephant which you don't get to see everywhere. We made the mistake of not taking a picnic.... More

We had a fantastic day out at Blackpool zoo the staff was friendly and the food was nice and not over priced. Plenty of picnic spots and a big play area for the kids as well as a indoor play area. The animals looked happy and well looked after. will be coming back in July

The zoo is not that big. However it's a good place for young kids since apart from seeing animals and birds there are also shows (at different times) and play areas where kids can have an enjoyable time If you have time then you can easily spend 5 to 6 hours. Be aware of peacocks and sea gulls near restaurants... More

Spent a great day at Blackpool zoo. It's not a super sized zoo like Chester, but it not small either, we arrived at 1100 and left at 1600. As you enter if your not into poorly painted plastic dinosaurs, avoid dinosaur safari. That's my only criticism . The rest is really very good. Don't forget to make a note of... More

Had yet another brilliant day at the zoo today with my three children. There really is something for everyone here. the sea lion show is the best i have ever seen and i enjoyed taking the children to watch the animals being fed. They really enjoyed hearing more about their favourite animals and visiting the childrens farm where they fed... More
