We visited during February half term. The zoo is brilliant! Plenty of animals to see and all the animals looked happy and healthy. We easily spent a full day here. The only downside was the cafe, which was extremely busy (which we expected since it was half term) but the food was rushed out so unfortunately the chips were not... More

What an amazing zoo this is! Really enjoyed visiting here with my boyfriend. £16.50 was a good price considering all that you got to see! We didn't go to any of the animal shows but did find all of the animal descriptions very educating! The monkeys were so entertaining, we could have watched them for hours. I would really recommend... Pre-booked "to avoid the queues" but turns out the fast pass till was closed so pointless. All the animals looked unhappy and the smell was terrible. There weren't a whole lot of talks on and we ending up missing them all by arriving in between talks. The only edible looking part of the cafe was closed so went hungry. The... More

We visited here in February, we arrived earlier than we were expecting so we were literally the first through the gates when the zoo was opened for the public. Because if this we got around the zoo a lot quicker than we would have if we visited during the afternoon - it took us around 2.5 hours. There is car... More

Booked the tickets online to get them 10% cheaper. A good well laid out zoo that seemed to be well looked after. We spent the full day there. Different talks and displays take place throughout the day.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit to Blackpool Zoo. However, I must point out that we do have several "stand out" features within the park, including the brand new Orang-utan Outlook which opened last year. It offers a fantastic opportunity to get as close as safety allows to some of the most interesting primates... More

Educational and enjoyable experience for young and old alike. We particularly like the friendly gibbons, the gorgeous red panda, and feeding time for the lions and tigers. Will definitely return.
