I used to go as a kid, Went a while ago now and it was so run down compared to other zoo's in the UK. Wouldn't bother wasting your money to go if I'm honest.

Came here on Sunday with my husband and our 2 young children. We all had a nice time and enjoyed the sealion show. The only thing that let it down was the cafe. The food wasn't the best and it's very cramped in there.

Been to the zoo a few times and always have a good day out. No as good as Chester in my opinion, but very pleasant all the same.

Being resident in the town it's easy to overlook what you have on your doorstep. I hadn't been to the zoo since I was a child and wasn't keen on the idea of going again. Glad to say I was wrong and had a great time. It's hard to say how much I saw but I was very impressed with... More

Arrived at the zoo at about 12, was open till 3,45. The main cafe was closed but the one at the entrance had coffee and hot drinks. I'm sure it must be mating month because half of the animals were at it haha. 😂 The animals were great and we really enjoyed the new orangutan enclosure. Reminded us of the... More

Had a lovely day at the weekend here with my partner. I recommend seeing the sea lion display whilst you're there, very funny and interesting. The only thing I was disappointed in was there wasn't anywhere within the zoo I could get a coffee as the cafe was being refurbished, on a cold day I really needed one. Had to... More

Highly recommend visiting this zoo, animals were so friendly they're environments clean and we could get up close and see the animals. This is an advantage of visiting out of season. Can't wait to visit again. Staff were friendly too eager to tell us about the latest plans for the zoo and the animals.

Blackpool zoo is a fantastic day out for all the family. Loads of money has been invested in recent years with up to date enclosures and some fantastic animals. Very easy to get to and park at with buses running from town centre. Great value considering how long your there for vs sea life for example which can be done... More
