This was our second time visiting and thoroughly enjoyed it as much the 2nd time. A great variety of animals on show, with well maintained grounds and enjoyable talks throughout the day.

We decided to come here on a whim before heading on the 4.5 hour drive home. We were glad we did. Although we were 3 adults, we enjoyed the zoo, it was informative, the shows were entertaining and the exhibits were good. The zoo appeared very proactive from a conservation point of view, which is always reassuring. The enclosures seemed... More

Took our toddler - he loved it as did we. Nice open layout, nothing too crowded. Great educational info about animals as well as the wonderful creatures themselves. Lots for kids to see and do, play area and train (which was sadly out of service when we visited - real shame) Plenty of areas smaller kids can still see animals... More

Brilliant visit to the zoo. Children loved it. From the dinosaur safari, the petting zoo, the play parks to the seal shows. Only down fall was limited food counters open unless you wanted to go into the bigger cafe. Well worth the visit!

We visited with our two children (6 & 3). There were lots of animals to see and plenty of shows/feeding on throughout the day. The children particularly enjoyed the sea lions and parrot shows. My six year old loved the dinosaur display. There is plenty to keep a family occupied for most of the day and the admission cost is... More

Had a really good day at Blackpool zoo. Loads of animals and the new baby tigers were adorable. The talks on each animal were full of facts and really interesting. Will definitely go back.
