We went here today with our small. Grandson. The sun was shining and all the animals were out enjoying it. We were lucky enough to see the two new baby tigers having fun rolling around and chasing each other, very cute. And the Giraffes were also enjoying their mid day snack, which meant they got very close to the outside... More

The zoo is well set out with plenty of greenery and places to sit. The animals are in well appointed enclosures. There are less indoor houses then many zoos so it's best to visit on a dry day. My partner went to the sea lion talk and enjoyed it immensely. The only down points was the massive queue to get... More

Had a good day out with small family members and liked the way the animals were kept. Plenty of room for everyone. On the day we went the train was not running which in June we found disappointing. The food offerings are just OK and if you bring a picnic have to eat outdoors which is no good as the... More

We visited this place on the sunday and found the place to be superb value and beautifully laid out, the sea lion show is a joy to see and the only disappointment was the insect house apart from that loved the place and would happily return

Went here with my family for a day out on our 3 day break in Blackpool. What we found is that having arrived there at opening time we started to run short of time towards the end as there was so much to look at and do. Like anything you can just run round the place and get from it... More

We visited with our young children on 28th August and got there before the Zoo opened at 10am. We had already pre-booked and printed our tickets out and paid the £2.50 for parking which wasn't too bad. The zoo was quite nice and the children enjoyed it a lot, but from an adult view point some of the enclosures felt... More

Firstly buy your tickets at the tourist information, it is cheaper and quicker to get in the zoo than standing in the massive queues at the entrance. There is a separate queue for internet bookings (done at Tourist Info) and pre bought tickets. we got bus in town using our bus passes and paid for children £1 each way, but... More

Large range of animals and all look well cared for. Lovely little children's farm and small train journey can be taken. We spent about 4 hours there. Food was quite expensive on top of admission price.

I visited for the day with my 4 year old daughter and husband. Whilst we enjoyed the day I felt like at every opportunity there was a way of swindling more cash out of you. £2.50 for car parking £10 to be able to feed giraffes, sealions, birds if prey etc & the biggest rip off I felt was £12.50...
