Brilliant lay out you get really quite close to the animals and lots of talks throughout the day. I would recommend taking a picnic as there are a few good spots to sit and enjoy the animals especially liked the dinosaur walk through and massive turtles at the start.

Not sure if I am at same zoo as last few people on here but could never give this 5 stars! Enclosures so overgrown could hardly see animals, water in ponds so dirty that carp were gasping for breath! Some parts do seem to have had an overhal like the sea lions and penguins which were very good. Maybe better... More

So many animals and great, simple information. Parking is reasonable too. Great array of animals and enclosures a good size also. The amazonia is a must, great attraction and hilarious monkeys. The reptiles bit isnt great, only slight negative but otherwise fantastic. Ive been to the big 5 uk zoos, this ranks behind only chester!

My first visit to the zoo using part online booking and part tesco vouchers. I thought parking was free but was surprised at the £2.50 parking fee which I bought from the playbarn as I had no change for the machine. The zoo itself was clean and s lovely space. My children particularly enjoyed the dinosaurs and penguins. The cafe... More

We exchanged our Tesco clubcard to get entrance into the zoo , which made it a very reasonable day out. It does help if the weather is good as you can end up walking quite a distance. I live close to Whipsnade zoo and visit there regularly , Blackpool zoo made a pleasant change.

Decent price for a very good trip around the zoo- plenty to see, plenty of picture opportunities, plenty of animals, gift shops and food places were on site, food wasn't exactly cheap but wasn't overly expensive- it's what you would expect from an attraction

Firstly you have to pay for parking, I think this is a bit cheeky when you are paying over 50 pounds (family of 4) to get in the place. When you go in a guy offers to take your picture, these are later put on with some animals. They are good pictures but they are nearly 10 pounds each. There is... More
