Took a walk up central pier only to be harassed half a dozen times by guys with silly games on offer to won rubbish prizes, sadly when you say politely no thankyou you get a snide comment, the amusement arcade could do with a major spruce up, and I appreciate many people use the toilet facilities through the day, but... Went to see 'Stars' acts, originally Legends? Visited October 2013. Very disappointing. It was 7.30pm and finished just after 9pm. Cost £15 per adult. Hardly anyone in the place! Finished just after 9pm. No atmosphere. Some of the acts were good. Shame really as some didn't get the support they deserved. Needless to say, won't be visiting again.

We originally wanted to visit the family bar. The constant pestering of the games men completely put us off. They wouldn't accept no for an answer so in the end we had to completely blank them. The fairground part was extortionate. Then to top it all off the rest of the pier was blocked off so no family bar visit.

No matter how many times you visit this place, it seems worse than the last time. What a ditch. Its money-grasping haydays of the 60s are long gone but Blackpool still does not seem to realise this. There must be a conservation order on the whole town as there appears to have been no structural maintenance carried in it for... More

Our previous visit here was ruined by overly aggressive stallholders trying to force us to play their games but this time was totally different - they all had a smile and none of them tried to force us into anything. Toilets are badly signposted though and are rank!
