At a bargain price of £3.30 each its a bargain and so much fun #woohoo It took us back to the thrill of fairground rides on our childhoods and for a few moments lifted our spirits away from being responsible adults. Do it😎😄

Nice walk along this pier, stopping to take in the views and surrounding beach....and the chipped paint, and the flaking wood, and overall shabby way it looks.......needs sorting Blackpool council!

The pier looks like it hasn't seen a paintbrush this century and is crammed with tatty rides and shops selling tat. If only some of the obvious profit was put back into infrastructure it could be made relatively attractive but as it is it just exudes seediness. Its clearly designed to extract as much money from tourists with kids as... More

Why central pier bosses have chosen to take down all the padlocks is pathetic..they wasn't hurting nobody! People where just paying respect to passed loved one who obviously loved blackpool and wanted Somthing for them there it's ridiculous. There's a bridge dedicated to padlocks in France but a pier in England won't allow a memorial in anyway ridiculous. I for... More

Went to the central pier on 4th October with my partner to watch the King & Queen of pop show, the price was £10 per ticket which we thought was good value for what was a decent show. Elvis was poor at the start but got better after the interval and Freddie Mercury was excellent all night. The price of the... More

Went to see illuminations and spent a great couple of hours on here. The weather dried up and the sunset was beautiful. The pier was clean and tidy great rides for younger ones. The cafe in the middle was clean the staff friendly and the scones lovely. The prices were excellent for a seaside resort £6.80 for 4 hot drinks... More

A walk on Central Pier on a chilly September day - certainly bracing and a change from polluted London air that I usually inhabit. It did feel rather like time travelling and, as the pictures show, not much happening except the swell of the sea. Loved it! but needed a good coat.

As the sun shone on Central Pier, myself and our Maureen sat enjoying the good weather taking the weight off our feet after the trek around the shops.I decided we needed a drink and promptly went over to the cafe and purchased a diet coke and Irn Bru at £1.50 each which I thought was daylight robbery, suddenly I needed to visit...
