Piers are part of the seaside tradition. All the piers in Blackpool are v good and worth a visit. The north pier theatre is particularly worth a visit.

I remember visiting the piers as a kid, going on the arcades, having a glass of pop in the family bar, watching people fish off the end. The principles are still the same, but it isold, run-down and lacking soul. It is apparent that the stag/hen demand on Blackpool has shaped its progression. Restoring some of the character of these... More

There are plenty of rides and stalls on central pier. You cannot walk down it without getting tormented by the people on the games stalls which is annoying, but at least you can ignore them. If you walk right to the end of the pier, even on a calm day, for some reason you seem to nearly get blown away... More

The pier needs some major TLC - needs to be reviewed in terms of restoration and a lick of paint! Small fair ride available but again need updating! Hawkers on the stalls drive you mad - shouting you over to play the games that you can never win on! Arcade area has a good selection of games and the staff... More

Go to Blackpool many times over the years and always go to watch the lights but we allways go on one of the spectacular trams we love it and I can see them all on the tram and we don't get stuck in the traffic and I get to see them instead of watching the traffic

Have to go on the big wheel every time (have done since a child) but think its a little pricey at 4.40 each! All other rides are thoroughly enjoyable and you just have tp love the arcades !

On and off the pier in less than 10 mins. Filthy run down rides that have seen better days and are long outdated. Also the ticket prices were horrendously overpriced. Avoid at all costs and don't waste your time!

The kids loved it! But my heart was in my throat half the time from the lack of maintenance. And too much has been shoehorned into such a small space. The Ferris Wheel groans and rattles alarmingly in the high winds in which it was still operating. The basic superstructure of the pier requires a good revamp. The rust, splintered... More
