I used to really enjoy the pier when i was younger, but the rides have now gone quite expensive. Although the arcades are good and the big wheel is great as you get fantastic views of Blackpool. Some lovely views to be had from the pier but spoiled by the rude and annoying stall holders. They really do put me... More

Went onto central pier to hopefully ride on the ferris wheel totally shocked at the prices for the rides (this is the same at the south pier) price for one adult £4.40 on a ride that is constantly empty as were most of the other rides far too expensive the company that run the south and central pier need to... First time of ever going to blackpool, we will not be going back. We walked along the seafront and the pier, we were constantly asked to play various games such as darts and hook a duck etc. One particular stall along the sea front took our money and decided they had no change and we were on 'cashback'. We never... More

went to Blackpool full of nostalgic expectations. The weather was awful(beyond anyones control of course) It only added however to the depressed feel of the town. The area was very run down with none of the hustle and bustle I have always associated with Blackpool. The city planners need their heads examined. There is a lot of construction going on... More

The pier itself is lovely, and had such a fabulous day, until a stall vendor duped my sister. You cut string and whatever that is attached to you win. Sounds simple doesn't it, 1 go for £3 or 2 goes for a £5, the guy who runs it moves some string away, leaving you only to cut string of really... More

Kids had a great day, not very clean, was a little worried about my car being left, although it was ok when we returned. Great value for money. A little repetitive - stuck in the 80's.

Too much closed for May - expected holiday season to be in full flow. Disappointing especially for the CENTRAL pier!

I wen to black pool with my boyfriend and his parents for the bank holiday weekend and the weather was lovelly. We stayed in a hotel opposite this pier so we was always on in. The big wheel was really good, and a few other rides. There was loads of amusements and I won a few teddies. It could do... More

The rides are good and if you go on the big wheel you can get a great view of Blackpool and some great photos. However as someone previously stated it is a bit on the expensive side and some stall holders do shout at you to play their games but a polite 'no thanks' does the trick. My one big... More

As with all of the piers they are looking a bit tired now. If fact the whole of the front of Blackpool i.e shops etc are in need of a facelift.
