Not in the best condition but looks like some restoration work underway, will be lovely once restored. Fun fair on the pier is very expensive, the big wheel was £4.50 per adult and only seemed to go around several times. The Waltzer was around the £3 plus mark. Needless to say we didn't go on any rides and thought we... More

This is the pier with the 'big wheel' and various other out dated fair ground rides. The kids enjoyed it however in my opinion the rides need updated as they all seem a tad rusted and dare i say unsafe looking with various things cordoned off (ie the big wheel has a few seats missing the bars not great to... Great for the kids! Rides and Amusements are cheaper than other (maybe more popular) places. There are also Food Places on the Pier, also cheap - but good enough! For a cheap, amusement filled day with the kids, it's well worth a visit.

Can't disagree with previous reviewer. Brilliant show even if not a true fan of either Elvis or Freddie Mercury. Got the crowd involved and kept the energy going through the whole act. Great family night out and for a tenner each who can complain?

Although it looked like a lot of fun before riding, we paid our £3.30, got seated by a man who was pretty rude, yelling at us to go into a particular cart. We were shocked at how unsafe it felt, the safety bar could fling up at any time, so maybe the place could do with some more safety features.... More

Brilliant show. Really good value for money. The two of them were great. Have to mention the staff. They are great. So helpful and courteous. Even the prices for the drinks were good too. Had a brilliant time. It's a must if you want a good night out

it's lovely to walk down the pier, whether the tide is in or out. There are a lot of photo opportunities and its like going back in time, except for the prices! Rides and games are expensive, at £2-£15 each especially if you have 3 children! You get hasseled to play and ride and get fed up being polite saying... More

We went to Blackpool for a day outing during our trip to UK Actually our children wanted to go to a amusement park and we were thinking if Alton towers but we parents were not interested So we were recommended Blackpool by a friend where kids could go to the pleasure beach amusement park and enjoy their rides while we... Could be such a lovely experience, it's all there in essence but it really needs some serious updating? The seats all round the pier are rusty and paint peeling and missing, it's overall shabby but could be really something.
