We stayed in Windermere recently and they recommended the Watermill at Ings for a good pint, we went and had a fantastic pint or two! (brewed on the premise) staff very helpful, especially Denise, had a good chat with locals at bar, its dog friendly if you have your dog with you. We did not eat but the menu &... more

We have been here quite a few times now and always feel at home. The food, accommodation, beers and welcome are a credit to this pub. We love the lake district and this has to be one of its gems. The only problem we have had is trying to book a room because its always busy. We recommend the Collie... more

Embarrassed to stay here last weekend; rude check in staff, poor breakfast, broken shower, definitely overpriced at £78.00 for a double room. more

Read other reviews and guest book they certainly differ from that review Breakfast is really good sorry if there was a fault with the shower - I hope you brought it to our attention there and then and it would have been sorted - overpriced - your opinion! I will investigate
