Pleased we walked from White Cross Bay after seeing the astronomical charge for parking. Disappointed that the Tree Tops walk was fully booked until Saturday as we arrived on a Wednesday. We opted for the wall climbing and Zip Wire for £48 for two adults and one child aged 6. We each got one chance to climb the wall before... More

We were recommended this place on the morning of our visit as having a tree top climb, gardens and raised trampoline. As soon as we parked up we could see the huge climbing wall along with the tree top climb a zip wire and the vast garden/ grounds. We were told the tree top climb was fully booked 😞so we... More

This a tough review. Brockhole is in a wonderful setting with fantastic views of Windermere. The staff were very friendly and the cafe was excellent. However, in order to make the most of your day you have to spend some money. Our two boys went on the tree top nets and thoroughly enjoyed this. This was quite expensive though. The... More

I am going to be completely honest, I wasn't even visiting the tourist information...I pulled in thinking it was ok to do so to make a call as I needed to check availability for a place to stay that night (there was no signs or anything telling me about 'Parking Eye') on a Sunday night (who charges for Sunday night... This really is a lovely place to visit. I'd been the previous year on a family holiday staying at White Cross bay holiday park. So, this was a stones throw away whilst staying there we walked from the site then for about 20 minutes. Then we came and used practically every facility they had including the tree top trek which... We were staying nearby so walked to the Visitor Centre to grab some information on things to do. There was a queue of cars to get in and it's easy to see why. A treetop trek, adventure playground, cafe, cruises etc ... Something for everyone.

Lynda and I stopped off here on our Windermere lake cruise. What a gem. Beautiful gardens and house. Great visitor centre exhibition. Note: Produce a leaflet or book of the Cumbria Slang Wall . Big café with big menu. Treetop adventure trail and a zipwire to mention but a few of the things to do. Lots of school parties taking... More

We've been coming here for years with out young children. It used to be excellent. Unfortunately it's no longer excellent and now verging on the very poor. Firstly it's expensive. Parking, the nets, the cafe etc all hugely expensive. The free outdoor climbing area for kids is now pretty horrible. Part have been taken away and not replaced with anything,... More

No really much here for the more mature amongst us it seams more geared up for the younger generations. We walked around to have a look found nothing mutch of intrested to either of us. Then bang the astronomically expensive car parking charges it's highway robbery at that price I'd expect to come back to my cat hand washed and... More

We chose thus venue as a rest spot on our trip north Cumbria. It was a good choice and was lovely to sit outside with a pot of tea overlooking the gorgeous lake Windermere. There is plenty here for the family and will return.... Simply stunning
