Fantastic family action packed day lots of things to do here. The treetop nets were lots of fun and the pony rides. Also love the fact that you can get boats to Windermere Ambleside and wrey castle.

We had a lovely afternoon here. We were with our two children who are 3 and 6 and our dog. The car park was quite full when we arrived as it was a beautiful day and the parking spaces are quite tight. Didn't help that lots of selfish drivers had parked right on the line in some spaces, making some... More

We picnicked by the lake while the children we were with paddled. Beautiful scenery . The adventure playground kept them occupied for a good while . The little shop has some lovely things and the facilities are good. We will be back again despite being invaded by seams intent on stealing our picnic.

during a two week break we visited Brockhole twice. I take slight issue with it being called "lake District Visitor Centre" as that makes it sound 'official' but it's still worth a visit. The parking isn't anymore expensive than anywhere else in the area, we spent £3.75 on our first visit and £5.50 on the second. Certainly not excessive as... More

We had a great time here. Parking isn't cheap but it is easy to pay by cash, card or online afterwards. There is a lot to do here and fabulous views of the lake. The activities can be expensive but we just picked the activities we most wanted to do. Our little girl had a pony ride and had the... More

We arrived today and saw all the zip wires and my children instantly got excited abt going on! Went to the free adventure playground, situated slap bag next to trampoline high bouncy place. Hard to say no!! My two had a fab time! Had to say my nearly 7yr old was 7yr to go on alone! That way saved me... More

We loved it here. There was lots to do for free by taking a picnic, ball, lake paddle/swim etc and grass areas, big adventure play area, toilets. Or you could spend money and do horse riding, tree top and the cafe just depends on budget. You pay when you leave which wasn't expensive in my opinion given that every other... More

We visited on a day of pouring rain.... Did it ruin our tree top trampolining or tree trekking.......Nope ! The trees held of some of the rain, and the activities were so much fun we forgot about getting rained on... Memories were made on our day at brockhole that will last a life time x We achieved things we thought... More

Stayed around an hour, paid after leaving at the machine. A month later and I have £22.00 demand notice. After looking online many other people have experienced this problem. I will not pay and will make this as difficult as I can for you to claim this money. Not acceptable, when will you admit you have a problem with car... More

I have to disagree with the reviews calling Brockhole a rip-off. The parking is no more expensive than anywhere else and the adventure playground, gardens and walks are still free with good places to picnic. The new attractions are priced in line with similar activities nearby and in our experience well worth it. My 7 year old loved her pony... More
