Spent the whole day at Brockhole today. We played in the kids adventure play ground for an hour then had a picnic before my husband and eldest child went to do the tree top climbing. They had 2 hours of fun in the trees whilst I took my youngest 2 for a pony ride around the park. We then had... More

Except for the tree top trek. This is a good place for younger ones, but needs to add more things for families especially for those between about 6-12

If you want to pay £8 to park your car ( nowhere else to park) and as a single mum with three boys, two wanted to tree walk but an adult had to go so they couldnt do that because I couldn't leave my 4 year old. Would of cost £80 for all of us anyway. They wonder why we... More

Our children are only 4 and 5 so the high wire was too advanced but this does look unbelievable. Cafe is OK. Food average but then isn't it always in these places. Children's play area very tired and still advanced. Looks in need of a good safety check to be honest One HUGE drawback. This is a school tour location... More

We visited the centre with 2 children and a baby in tow and we all had the best time. The cafe is gorgeous and the flapjack is wonderful. The play area is great for kids and although the indoor 'soft play' area didn't have much in the way of soft play, the adults all loved the colouring-in activities (!!!!) and... More

On a cool and rainy Tuesday afternoon, Brockhole offered a cello concert followed by afternoon tea which formed a very enjoyable part of our short break in the Lakes. We'll be back.

Arrived on site... fantastic gift shop and beautiful walk around the gardens and the views across lake Windermere. Though out of season, it still seems a happy place, cafe seemed to have a good choice of food and drinks, plenty of tables. Had a lovely few hours and very recommend to visit.

We visited Brockhole on a lovely sunny day. We took our own picnic and so we spent just over £5 all day: £2.20 cup of tea, £2.00 parking and we treated my son to an ice cream. Bargain! The park was fantastic for my 4 year old son (and his mummy!!) and the grounds are super. We had a walk... More
