Easy to park, there are lots of spaces. Brilliant children's play area with scramble nets, variety of slide, zip line, climbing things, swings etc. Bark chip underneath. Built in a wooded area with picnic tables and a large grassy area. There are toilets in various locations which you are not charged for. Nice cafe to get a decent cup of... More

We visited in s family group ranging from the able to the less able and a dog. We were worried about looking after everyone's needs. The staff were so helpful and lent us a motorised scooter which gave my dad some independence allowing us to let the children lead the way. You pay for the car park on exiting, which... More

Had a lovely trip from Waterhead to Wray Castle and then caught another ferry to Brockhole. Lovely walk round the grounds watching the various activities and admiring the Mawson gardens. Lunch on the terrace was very enjoyable and we also liked the small exhibition. Very well worth a visit.

Brockhole is a very special place - situated on Lake Windermere - an outstanding location and very easy to find, The gardens were beautiful and the layout for the adventure activities is unique. For a special family outing it was wonderful - lots to challenge and thrill active children - and keep them busy for hours, - quite expensive if... More

My 2 boys aged 10 and 12 loved the net play area. The session lasted for 2 hrs so I think £16each is a bit steep. Nothing else to do other than cafe and walk around the park.

Huge wooden tree top adventure area complete with a long death slide. All have safety harnesses to keep them safe and secure whilst high up in the trees.

I went to the Visitor Centre to get a good view of the lake and to stroll around the gardens. There are lots of attractions for families with children

Had a really lovely day out at Brockholes in May 2014 - unfortunately the experience was completely ruined by a parking scam which 15 months later (and after 12 months of no contact) has led to me receiving a demand for £200 and threats of County Court. Brockholes uses Park With Ease, a parking enforcement company that isn't park of... More
