A good day at Treetop Trek has been ruined by receiving a parking fine over a month later. Apparently there are signs but we did not see them so be warned!!!! We paid nearly £100 for the 4 of us, so you would expect parking to be included, not so. I appealed but they were having none of it!

Didn't really meet my expectations, a bit of a disapointment. Thought a visitor centre would have a bit more going on but it's a little dare I say...boring?

Thank you for your review of your recent trip to Brockhole. We are very sorry to hear you found our visitor centre less than thrilling and would be interested to hear your ideas for what a Visitor Centre should be like! Visited here 5th Dec on a cold damp day so we were virtually the only people there. This nor the weather deterred us and we set off to view the grounds..no high wire for these OAPs! We followed the Beatrix Potter nature trail boards at times and loved the memories of reading the stories to our daughters. They were most... More

Great setting, decent cafe and nice for a short walk. Feels spoilt by new high rope activity- much busier than previously and changes whole feel of the place.

My husband and I always visit Brockhole. We had not taken the car with us this time to the Lakes and had gone by train from Liverpool Lime Street. You can still visit this Centre by the local bus service.

Lovely place brockhole visitor centre and something to do for all ages from swinging through the trees to having a pick nick in the gardens. Good cafe on site if the weather is wet and you can also get the ferry to Ambleside and bowness.

We're making our way from the North East to Cardiff, and using the M6. I need lots of breaks on a long drive and we found this place to stop close to Preston. Its a nature reserve... Little lake for bird with a visitor centre cafe etc. we visited on a Wednesday and it was very quiet. We had a... More

Thank you for reviewing your recent trip on Trip Advisor. However, the place you visited and enjoyed is called Brockholes, near Preston, whereas this website is for the Lake District National Park's visitor centre, called Brockhole, on the A591 between Windermere and Ambleside! We too have a lake, albeit a bit larger than the one you visited, and a café... More

Treated the kids to a couple of hours at Treetop Nets at Brockhole Visitor Centre during our holidays in the Lakes - had a wonderful time at Treetop Nets, albeit expensive, but had fun and thoroughly enjoyed it so it was worth the money. However, this has been completely overshadowed this morning (18/11) by receiving a parking fine letter dated... More

My 10 year has been nagging to do this for months, so we took the chance when stopping nearby. Great fun, tests your skills and nerve and stretches a few muscles!! Zip wire at the end is fantastic. Afterwards go for lunch in the nearby cafe, great food and coffee
