Worth a visit, but don't go by car

Parking here is stupidly expensive. They would get many more visitors if the had reasonable prices ie free for first hour, then say 50p per hour after that. We went by bus, but... read more

This is a great find and not just for children. There is so much to do, ample parking. We walked by the lake and found a secluded picnic spot, we then played crazy golf, fun way to pass half an hour. We were reluctant to book any activities for the following day as the weather was changeable so the bike... More

We keep coming back here year after year, kids love it including our 18 year old, something for all the family! Tree Top Trek is great fun, regardless of the weather there is plenty to do and boat hire facilities and staff are brilliant down at the lakeside. We were able to contact the staff down at the lakeside directly... More

Parking here is stupidly expensive. They would get many more visitors if the had reasonable prices ie free for first hour, then say 50p per hour after that. We went by bus, but they are expensive too unless you have a senior bus pass. There was a huge aerial playground for young people, but not much for older people. The... More

This has been a favourite spot over many years and remains so to this day. Even better now with Treetop Trek there as well. A good day out and a great play area for young kids.

Simply awful. The prices for the new TreeTop Trampolines are shocking. You have to pay for your child under 4's are £11 over 5's are £16, which is daylight robbery and bad enough on its own but then you also need to pay £11 per adult to sit and watch them!! So for a family of four with a 6... More

So good we went twice during our 2 week holiday in the lakes. The "go ape" type aerial assault course was a massive hit with our 5 year old - especially the huge zip wire at the end! Also, there is a great playground (free) and a "tree top trampoline" which is quite expensive but you do get 2 hours... More

We took our three grandchildren for the day and decided to book them on the tree top nets. Ages 7,11,13. There were four teenage boys on the nets that were hitting the other children, bouncing the big balls of them and jumping on the other children. Our 7 year old grandson was hurt by them, he had a swollen eye... More

lovely venue for kids activities, bit pricey but worth it for a good day out. Before we came here we didn't know you could hire boats for the hour, or that you could get the ferry accross the lake, so plenty to do to fill a day and tire out the kids! Disappointed about the extortionate parking fees! When you're... More

Lots of activities in a beautiful setting. Great shop and cafe BUT feeling totally ripped off by the exorbitant car parking fees, spoilt the day. A pathetic free first 10 minutes parking simply wasn't enough time for a walk up the steep path to the information centre to get info and back down. Why not have a free hour parking?... More

We went to Brockhole today to give the kids a break from site seeing ! They had a great time, it truly is a really good place with lots to do, but I must say that it is very expensive compared to similar place we've visited in the southeast ! This is not a complaint as we had a great... More
