It was quite steep but did not take as long as I had expected. Definitely worth the climb as you get a very clear view of Lake Windermere. It was very windy once arriving at the peak, but was nice to be able to sit down on a bench to take in the scenery. A must do!

A short, easy walk with amazing views at the top! About 15mins up at an easy pace! Don't miss out if you are in Windermere and have a spare half hour!

Fab views. It is a steep walk. But only 20 mins. The views are well worth the effort. There are many routes up and down so explore to make it more interesting. Don't forget your water and camera. One of The entrances is at the bottom of the Windermere hotel car park....

Our final climb - not too high but still had a stunning view. We just wish it had been that clear our entire visit.

This was one of Wainwright first views of the lakes and you can see why he rated it.The view from the top is breathtaking. You do need walking shoes as it can be slippy in places and is not wheel chair friendly but well worth hike up.The walk up takes around twenty minutes.

Great views and a short walk away. We followed a circular route to Ambleside and returned via the ferry.
