Great day out. I did this with my two ten year olds and they have raved about it all the way home, they loved it. My wife was meant to do it, but due to a medical issue that we had not considered she couldn't, however the lady in reception was brilliant at sorting this out very discreetly. All in... More

We come every year and the experience is always brilliant. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, even the most nervous feel safe. Zip wire is awesome! Don't visit the area without doing tree top trek.

We visited on a cold cloudy day. We have 2 boys aged 5 and 8, my husband who loves this sort of thing and me who really does not like heights. Our 5 year old was a bit scared but the instructor came to our rescue and was very patient and reassuring. Great staff. They arranged the groups so you... More

Great fun, even for those who aren't a fan of heights. The staff are nice and do a great job of making it really enjoyable. For those who need a bit of encouragement, they know how to get people around, for those who are fine with heights, they find ways of making it more challenging. You need to book as... More

I only did this for my daughter and boyfriend, thinking I would put a brave face on and get stuck into something they would love. As it happened, I loved it too and would definitely do it again next time we're up in the Lakes. The staff are great, the whole set-up very safe, I didnt doubt for a second... More

I love outdoor activities so this was perfect for me. Only downfall was the time spent queuing waiting for people to move on to the next challenge. I'd recommend beating the queue and going early.

This is the first time any of us (family of 4 including 2 girls aged 13 and 8) have tried anything like this as I have a fear of heights. While visiting the Lakes this week we decided to push ourselves beyond the comfort zone. Well, I can't praise the staff or the trek highly enough. Our instructor Barry was... More

Top tip - travelled from our hotel at Bowness pier by boat to get to Brockhole, to increase the "day-out" factor (takes about 15-20 mins, beautiful scenery). Tree-tops net was lots of fun for my 11&14 year old and my 2 year old enjoyed the adventure park next to it and feeding the ducks on Windermere lake meantime. Tip: tree-tops... More
