We enjoyed a wonderful days sightseeing with our driver/guide Mark. "The High Adventure" described the day well. Steep mountain passes, ride on a steam train fabulous viewing points all accompanied by a very knowledgeable guide. Nothing was too much bother for him and we both felt very safe with his driving through some hairy roads !!!. His knowledge of the... More

We always use the Mountain Goat as a means of seeing all that the Lakes have to offer, and at the same learn so much from the knowledgable driver/guides. This trip we went to Hadrian's Wall, having done all but one of the Lake Tours! Malcolm was brilliant as driver and guide, knowledgable, patient and good humoured. Real value for... More

We went on the 'High Adventure' tour taking us over Hardknott and Wrynose passes, out to Wastwater and on the Ravenglass railway, and a lot more. Our guide and driver, Jerry, was really knowledgeable about the area. He shared lots of local knowledge with us which made the day even more interesting. It was a real break from driving for... More

Had a half day "Beatrix Potter" tour which included a visit to Hilltop House, a stop at the beautiful and wild Tarn Hows and a cruise on lake Coniston. I booked mountain Goat after reading great reviews and was so glad we did. Our guide Malcolm was so knowledgable and made the trip so interesting, I hope he passes his knowledge on to his colleagues. We saw so much in a small amout of time. Perfect.

We had a half-day tour from Keswick, gorgeous. The driver-guide was warm, very informative, and nicely proposed one more hour for the tour, since the boat for the cruise was a little late at the beginning. I definitely recommend Mountain Goat tours to discover Lake District, such a marvelous place!

A great way to see the local attractions in a short span of time. Elliot who drove us around was really warm and accommodating. He pointed out the points of interest, ensured we were comfortable and gave us enough time to absorb the beauty and the ambience.
