Great tour. Ticked all the boxes on the list and good commentary along the way. Have learnt some Viking words thanks to Andy and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Arranged for us by the tourist information board at Bowness as the other company - goat something - we had seen with a winter tour told us they didn't run that... More

This winter special tour starts from Windermere. Andy, our guide picked us straight from Glenville house where we were put up. The tour was very comprehensive starting right from Kirkstone pass, lake district's highest road culminating to the stunning waterfalls of Skelwith force. Overall this has been a fabulous tour and Andy had been very helpful with his knowledge of... More

We took two tours, tour F with Edwin and tour A with Andy. They picked us up from our b&b in Bowness, and dropped us back off there at the end of the day, so we didn't have to navigate those narrow winding roads on our own. Tour A took us through Kirkstone Pass, past Brothers Water and to Ullswater.... More

We went to windamere having booked our tour the night before vey well priced for the 8 hours we were touring. Our driver and guide Steven was very very knowledgable he covered any subject you could imagine, the tour lasted 8 hours the only sore point was the cruise on the lake as the weather was so nice every one... Despite the tour we had booked (F Rocky) being cancelled, we decided to take the alternative (Tour A Lakes). The cancellation was no fault of the tour company, rather some silly people who thought there was to be a storm (it didn't happen). Tour A took in much of the Lake District, through mountain passes, via many lakes and also... More

I have taken two tours in 2010 and this year I have taken the tour A. This tour company provides the cheapest tour options in Lake District with standard quality like other renowned tour operators (Mountain Goat etc). They provide enough photo opportunities and toilet stops. Their best tours are tour A and tour F. The only problem is that... More

We did Tour A, a full day around the Lake District, and we were not disappointed. We travelled to areas that we would not have found by ourselves and Andy was very good with his commentary - enough and not in your face. The cruise on Detwentwater was very pleasant and we had ample time Keswick to wander and find... More

Fantastic tour, we did the Beatrix Potter tour B and saw some breathtaking scenery! Wonderful guide Roger who clearly knows his history, very funny, knew all the best routes! Really recommend doing an all day tour to see it all, some of the most breathtaking sights we've ever seen!

We went to Lake District for the weekend and this was our first trip to the place. We took the full day tour on day one and it covers the key places and gives a very good idea of the district. On day two, as the forecast was of rains, we chose to do a half day tour of Beatrix... More
