What a super area to visit. The walk taking in Dockray took us about two hours and that was with a lot of stops for photographs. It was so beautiful and relaxing we both agreed that wecould have done it again the next day! Unfortunately the cafe was closed for re-furbishment. However, we were able to get a hot drink... More

Its impossible to rate something Nature made really I just find the whole Lake District incredibly beautiful. There are different types of beauty in the area but Waterfalls always seem particularly attractive and Aira Force is visually stunning. The paths created around there area are extremely good and do not detract from or commercialise the views. I would recommend if... More

Due to plenty of rain, the waterfall was quite spectacular. Walking on the left bank is relatively easy but once you cross to the other bank, there are steep rugged inclines which require care as many of the boulders are slippery. Walking poles or a stick would be advantageous.

This is a relative easy walk. There are some lovely stone bridges near the waterfalls. There are a number of waterfalls along the path. One of the best walks we did in Lake District and our boys really loved it.

Not the greatest in size its true - but Aira Force waterfall and surrounding woodland is second to none for beauty as Wordsworth well knew. Set among the rolling hills and fells of the Lake District this is an easy walk for all the family and highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall tumbling through rocks and trees set among the rolling hills and rising fells of the Lake District.

This place is truly magical, kids love the adventure and the money trees (don't forget a coin) adults love the pure power of the water, you must take care with footing as some areas can get slippery even in nice weather due to the spray but with common sense everyone can enjoy it. Be prepared depending where you start it... More

National Trust property. I am a member. They do good work. Join and help them financially. You save money in spades if you visit lots of sites. Car parking in the Lake District is free on NT sites to members, just parking could cost you more. Aira Force is a beautiful site, a good walk, spectacular views and you can... More
