Visited here with my daughter and 2 friends aged 11 and what fun they had! I wasn't expecting to be there for 2 hours! It was such a relaxed atmosphere. Mine choose to paint. They were allowed to help themselves to their own paint and glitter. There was numerous potteries to choose from ranging in different sizes and prices. They... More

Very relaxed and friendly place to while away a few hours with the children - lots to tempt both tinies and older children.

We were out of towners visiting Penrith for a couple of days. We found cheeky monkeys on TA as a number 1 attraction. Even with the post code finding them on trip advisor was easier - small tip - find the Town Hall and they are opposite on the corner of the "island" - trust me, if you're not familiar... More

This was our second visit to crafty monkeys and again we received fab service and had lovely products to take home. There is a lovely little play area for the children when they lose their concentration. Another fantastic visit, very highly recommended.

Very friendly staff help you to decide the craft of your choice, from painting pottery, to decopatch & lots more. Myself & my 12 year old daughter had a great time decorating 2 decopatch animals. They soon dried & we were able to take them away at the end of our morning. Thoroughly recommend, would be great to go back... More

My 7 year old twins, Maryam and Zaynab really enjoyed making bowls at the pottery wheels and insisted on an additional activity to decorate an elephant and paint a flower dish with just about every colour in Crafty Monkeys! We made a special stop in Penrith on our way back from Edinburgh and were not disappointed with the reviews we... More
